This is a real find. This was my friends first vacation, and she loved every day we were their. Cabin was very clean and had every thing we needed. we spend a lot of time out side on the dock and in the water. You can bet that we will be back next year and hopefully many more.
This cabin was a real find. We had a wonderful time. It was very clean, well maintained, and the owner was very accommodating. The cabin is only a few steps to the lake. The lake was very peaceful and relaxing. The grounds were well kept, with plenty of outdoor furniture. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. There were four of us who stayed the week and we all had an AWESOME time. We fished, swam, and boated. Our dog loved it. Don't let the low rental price sway you from renting this cabin. It is better than some places we've stayed that rented for triple the rate. It was one of our best vacations yet. Would highly recommend it. We would definitely stay again. A+++
Upon arrival I was pleased with the outdoor appearances of this property. The grounds were well maintained and it has a beautiful peaceful view of the lake. If that's all you care for, then I would recommend staying here. If it is that and cleanliness you desire, then you might think again. Cleanliness is based on how clean the party who rented before you left it. Cleaning is based on the honor system, you clean it for me, I will clean it for you. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils you need to prepare most meals including cleaning products and paper items. The beds were disgusting with mildew and filthy mattress protectors and one room had fine mildew on the wall. I realize that can happen in a cottage close to the lake, but it can also be prevented with proper maintenance and management. The shower floor was appalling, which was comprised of a wooden pallet and a vinyl bathmat. If you have allergies to animals, mold or dust, I would definitely not recommend this cottage. The owner was made aware of these problems and a handyman was called out to fix the plugged up drains. They also made mention the bathroom was going to be remodeled and another problem fixed, but how soon that will happen is the question. I would recommend you request new photos before renting this cottage.
Did not want to leave ever. Absolutely beautiful view. Fell in love with the cabin. Loved waking up watching the sun rise while sitting in the patio. The bathroom was really big and very clean. I have stayed in other cabins for the past 20 years. This was the nicest cabin I have stayed in and a great value for being right on the lake. Will be back for sure!
The cottage is very nice, and was just what I expected. There were several things that we were not satified with. Even though the neighboors were very close, that was ok, but the other owners were very unfriendly. The lake is nice, even if there is no beach. Would really think that a row boat should be available, even if you add a charge for this. Unfortuanately we ended up staying only 4 nights.
Please provide a list of area businesses that you can recommend. Especially restaurants. We never did find a decent one.
Cozy little cottage with a ceiling fan in the room overlooking the lake. A good place to stay for a family in the summer time but may get a little hot during the afternoon without a window A/C unit. Great Lake to bring a boat for the family and do a little skiing, fishing, and boating fun. Be aware of placing the boat at the dock when the water becomes choppy and much better to bring an Auger for mooring the boat near the shoreline on the right side of the dock. A swimming area is to the left side of the dock for the kids to play. Overall a great family trip that I would recommed and good community to share the lot in front of the home near the lake with.
