House features very fun and open floorplan, along with 2 separate master suites + 3rd private bedroom (3 bedrooms total), and tons of parking. You’re also just steps away from boating, fishing and dining at the Morgan Creek Marina and Wild Dunes; Sullivan’s Island is just a short bike ride away, and all the shopping and excitement of Charleston is just minutes by car.
And yes, our house is DOG-FRIENDLY, too...with a fenced, shaded yard and dog-door for small and medium-sized dog. Our house offers vaulted beamed ceilings, soft lighting, French doors, wide plank pine floors and gorgeous tile flooring; kitchen has breakfast bar, stainless appliances; grand dining with built-in seating; high speed wireless Internet; offers a quality king bed; queen beds in second & third bedrooms + sofa queen sleeper in the living room.
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Washer and dryer. A 200 sf screened porch provides sunset views and room for family and friends.
This is the perfect getaway for two or three couples, or as a romantic and extra-spacious escape just for two. The beach is WONDERFUL off-season, too. FREE TENNIS is available at the beautiful Isle of Palms Recreation Center a few blocks away...which is a real savings for you!

We love our beach house but right now we need to follow work opportunities that take us away from the beautiful Isle of Palms. Gregg is in the radio business and Jody is in the museum exhibit design and management business, and our job is taking us away for awhile. We love surfing, hiking and lots of other outdoor activities that we can enjoy with our dog, Jersey. We have done a lot of recent remodeling and decorating of our beach house to make it beautiful and comfortable for all of our renters.

We moved to the Charleston area in 2004 and then fell in love with the Isle of Palms. We never intended to rent our house out because we love it, and we love being so close to the beach...because we're both surfers and also take our dog Jersey to the beach as many times a day as we can. But this crazy economy is taking us away awhile...so we hope you will enjoy our home while we're gone!
Its a fun beach house, just a short straight walk to the beach. We love our daily and nightly walks on the beach, surfing, swimming in the warm waters of the Atlantic and then coming home to the shade under our giant oak trees. Our house is open and beach-y with a casual and unique layout. We have decorated it with love and memories. Our house is also a very short walk to the Isle of Palms Marina, where you can kayak or sail or launch your own boat, or just grab lunch or dinner while enjoying the stunning water views. And, of course, downtown Charleston and the rest of the famous Charleston Lowcountry are just minutes away by car.
This was our second visit to "Our Beach House." Peter, Pepper (our chocolate lab) and I felt like we were coming home. We love every little thing about the place: the unbelievably well-appointed kitchen with everything you need for cooking and dining, the cozy living room with the
warming fireplace, comfortable beds, plenty of closet space, the unusual and fascinating artwork, AND the adorable yard. Pepper especially loves it out there plus the jars of doggie bones and toys you
so generously provide for all canine visitors.
We hope to return again for some time next January or February.

The house is in a great location . My family enjoyed Christmas there this year. The dog loved the yard. The kitchen was well equipped. I would recommend that they add info about the TV in the den to the notebook. When we arrived it wasn't hooked up so I called Jody. We also could have used info about the dishwasher.. I would make sure any future renters knew about the different levels and all the stairs . I liked the privacy of the bedrooms but the stairs could be an issue.
Starting with the location...Locally a nice walk to the beach. A few blocks-straight shot- long enough for some exercise and miles of beach to walk once you got there. Plenty of walking in the neighborhood too. There is a dog park close by but it was quite busy and we keep our dogs away from contact w/lots of unknowns. The fenced yard at the house is more than sufficient. Our dogs spent more time in the yard and outside porches than they do at home. SO...perfect for pets. Also- quiet neighborhood on a dead end street.
For owners. Great Harris Teeter grocery. Wonderful restaurants. Try Long Island Grill, Sea Biscuit, Acme, Boathouse. You'd never have to leave the island for anything. But downtown Charleston and the huge mall in Mt. Pleasant are barely 30 min. away.
The house, itself, is super clean and well set up with starter cleaning items and all kitchen needs. I loved the way that almost every room had an outdoor access to a screened porch, patio, balcony etc. And many small levels separated the sleeping areas just enough for a bit of privacy if desired but with plenty of common space.
All set up when you arrive. Linens and towels provided. Very little closing clean-up required. Easy check-in and contact with owner if you have questions. Can't wait to go back.
The fenced back yard is great. Easy walk to the beach. Screen porch was enjoyable. House smells clean and was very inviting. Several entrances made moving in and out very convenient. Appliances - specifically the dishwasher and frig need upgrading. If it were my rental I would remove all carpet. Would have given it a five star if the appliances were working better.
Our family loved our stay here! Very roomy and felt like you were home. Very comfortable. The bedrooms are really spacious. The kitchen is large and well stocked with cookware, dishes,etc. We loved sitting around the large dining table catching up with out of town family and playing cards! Our dogs loved the yard, lots of room to run around. Our Jax loved the doggie door!! The walks to the beach were great! Just 2 blocks away!! Stores and restaurants are close by. We absolutely loved our stay here!!!!
There are just four houses between our house and the beach. After your beach time it is always nice to come back to the shade from the huge oaks around the house.
The house is also 4 blocks from the Isle of Palms Marina where you will find the public boat launch; the Morgan Creek Grill and Bar which has great river views; a small convenience store and gas station, and kayak and jet sky rental and eco boating trips available. Wild Dunes, just a few block away, offer golf courses (Harbor Course and Links Course) 843 886-2164.
There are a number of other great restaurants and shops on IOP (Boat House, Hucks, Sea Biscuit), Sullivan's Island (Poe's is my favorite), Mt Pleasant (Mustard Seed, Basil, Bamboo) and historic down town Charleston (Hominy Grill, SNOB, Fig, Husk).
There is a dog park locate behind the Recreation Center at 29th and Hartnett Blvd.

CLEANING FEE - $175 for stays less then four days.
CANCELLATION POLICY: A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment, damage and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
