We had such a great weekend at the cabin. My husband and I took our two kids (ages 3 and 9) and a friend. The girls loved the cozy upstairs and our 3 year old was able to climb up and down the ladder with no problem. We played in the creek, dug for crystals, and visited little Missouri falls. Even though the owners live next door, we hardly saw them and felt right at home exploring the area. Lori even brought over the best cupcakes one evening! We enjoyed every second of our stay and hope to return someday soon!
Peaceful and relaxing
My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The guest house was charming, and had beautiful surroundings.
It’s five o’clock somewhere! What a great place, I wish I could give it ten stars!
Wow! My boyfriend and I came to spend some time alone, enjoy nature, and decompress from the city. We got all that and more!
Lori was friendly and professional, made us feel comfortable and welcome. Her home is right next door, however we felt like our privacy was highly respected. The property itself is secluded and we felt safer having her next to us just in case.
The view is breathtaking! The river is a short walk down the hill. It was raining and cold the weekend we went but we still were able to enjoy nature. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable, and well insulated. The bed was extra comfortable. We visited Little Missouri Falls which is close and worth it. The hot tub was great. We only used the outdoor kitchen once before the cold front but there is a fridge and microwave inside. The sun finally came out our last day and we didn’t want to leave! This is the best cabin I’ve stayed at. We had a memorable weekend despite the weather. We had planned to go tubing when we thought the weather would be nicer, so that is number one on the list for next time as well as getting in the clear waters on the property.
We cannot wait to return and enjoy the property to it’s full potential... Already
looking at future dates. The guest house truly made us feel like guests in a unique, beautiful property. Bravo Lori!
Very Nice & relaxing
A friend and I took our teenage daughters for the weekend. Just wanted to get away and de stress. We loved the beautiful cottage. Lots of style and in perfect condition. The girls enjoyed walking around and playing in the river. The Moms enjoyed doing nothing. Laying in the sun, reading books and just relaxing. It was fun cooking outdoors, hot tubbing and sitting around the camp fire. Lori was a wonderful host. Her house was Nextdoor but this was not a problem what so ever. She greated us and show us where everything was then she was off doing her own thing. We like that she was close if we needed anything. She was very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with her. The cabin had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place!!
My family and I loved it, ppl are nice and the area is beautiful.
We had fun skipping rocks, having BBQs, enjoying the peace and quiet, the view was beautiful better than I imagine
Great little cabin on the Caddo!!
My family stayed in the Guest House for our spring break getaway. We loved everything about this peaceful, cozy cabin. The hot tub was fantastic during the cool evenings. We loved walking down to the river, skipping rocks, and exploring. Our two children (ages 7 & 11) loved the loft area with their own TV and game chairs. The outdoor covered kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils we needed for cooking all our meals. We had plenty of essentials and our hostess, Lori was very friendly and offered to get us anything else we needed. Numerous bath, beach, dish towels are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the bathroom. Plenty of small appliances were available inside for use. Great outdoor spaces with plenty of chairs for stargazing and relaxing.
