I've managed the Tiroler Alpenhof apartments since 2001, which my parents built. As a kindergarten teacher and mountain guide, I enjoy the contact with our guests in the house, and I'm available on-site for if you need any tips.
Claudia Muigg purchased this apartment in 2001
I was born and bred in Patsch, and have lived with my family (3 daughters) in the house. I can’t imagine a more beautiful area. We enjoy the special peace and quiet every day. With a view of the Stubaier Glacier, power and peacefulness emanate from this area. Even so, we're still close to the modern works, with the Alpine capital of Innsbruck just 10 minutes away.
The whole family loves to take part in athletic activities, which they can do right from our doorstep in an intact natural landscape. We spend a lot of time in our garden: with Theresa's pet enclosure, the vegetable garden, and the garden grill. The sunny location, with 7-10 hours of sunlight even in winter, will make your heart beat faster.
I have been here already 9 or 10 times, so no need to say I can highly recommend this Ferienhaus. Everything very clean and comfortable and above all: a very sympathetic and gracious hostess! Greetings Claudia, and see you next year! :-)

We stayed there for a week and we found much more than we expected. Claudia is a wonderful hostess and she advices you on your stay. We forgot about some of the places we had planned and instead we stayed in the area to enjoy high mountains, waterfalls and the astonishing scenery around. The house is close to Innsbruck if you want to enjoy the city, but in a quiet town close to lots of places were you can go trekking or just have a nice relaxing walk. About the house, getting up and seeing Stubai and the mountains is much better than what the photographs can tell; quiet, clean, and with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. We would definitevly consider it to get to know the area more in depth, and would recomend it to anybody no matter they like mountain, walking or city holidays.
Patsch is situated at an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level on a sunny plateau, and is situated 8 km south of the Olympic city of Innsbruck. Our town is a traditional Tyrolian mountain village with the most beautiful mountain panorama Tyrolia has to offer: from the Brenner mountains to the Stubaier Glacier to the Zugspitze and the Karwendle Range. The Tiroler Alpenhof House boasts a location that offers peace and quiet for enjoyable, relaxing holidays on the sunny balcony or in the large garden with recreational equipment.
The Alpine capital of Innsbruck is just 10 minutes away, which offers: tourist attractions, a historic old town, culture, sightseeing, wandering, going out dancing at night, good food, and much more.
Our house is situated on the Patscherkofel Mountain, which offers skiiers of all experience levels some of the best World-Cup quality slopes. Modern snow machines ensure skiing into the spring, though in summer the area is a family-friendly hiking region. Our central location in the heart of Tyrolia is perfect for excursions in the ancient vallets and to Italy, Germany, and Salzburg.
Other activities: tobogganing, skating, cross-country skiing, indoor and outdoor climbing, mountain biking, hiking, walking, jogging, Nordic walking, climbing, and swimming in the Lansersee.
Ski: a perfect winter vacation on the southern plateau near Innsbruck at 1,000 metres above sea level. We are located at the foot of the Olympic ski mountain of Patscherkofel (2,250 m). The host of the men's downhill events in 1964 and 1976, it can be reached via the cable car from Iglis (3 km) or from the 4 chair lifts in Olex (2 km). The sunny, family-friendly mountain offers 5 lifts that lead to red and blue slopes. The clear ski resort offers lots of fun for snowboarders, skiiers, and ski tours, as well as for hikers, young and old. The well-built snow machines guarantee fun in the snow on the peaks of the Olympic pistes until well into the spring. The children's ski course makes learning lots of fun (and can include a half-day of childcare). The free ski bus leaves twice weekly to the Stubaier Glacier, where snow is 100% guaranteed, and once to the Axamer Lizum.
There are plenty of toboggan runs in the area, with this family-friendly sport attracting ever more fans. Toboggans can be rented in the house.
For Nordic walking enthusiasts: the RUN &WALK PARK Igls-Lans-Rinn-Patsch ( 109 km)- weekly introductory course offered free by the tourism board will be a special treat.
There are diverse mountain bike routes for all ages and fitness levels that start right outside our front door. There are around 115 km of signalled paths in altitudes ranging from 600-2250 m in our holiday region.
Golf: Golf in the mountains - The gorgeous sunny plateau over the Alpine capital of Innsbruck will delight passionate golfers and engaged beginners. There are three golf courses nearby:
the Alpine Championship course in Rinn, with 9- and 18-hole courses are set in an imposing natural setting with a unique panorama,
the Lans Sperberegg course (9 holes),
and the Igls golf course (9 holes)
