Multi family birthday weekend
Great location, clean, well stocked, comfortable and great for groups and families
Awesome property. Plenty of room. There were 10 of us, but 14 would fit comfortably. Pool table was great, loft for kids was ideal. Kitchen was well stocked. (Frozen) lake was beautiful and I imagine would be great during summer too. There was a street closed off for neighborhood sledding on Cascade Dr. Small grocery shop on Norden also was convenient, and had delicious salsa. The only thing that didn’t work during our stay was the jacuzzi tub, which was unfortunate. Overall, highly recommended house.
The peace and comfort of this cabin was amazing. My heart was full!! It was perfect in every way.
Loved the house. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very spacious and clean.
We loved using the bikes, canoe and pool table. It was a great house for our family. The only downside was the mosquitoes.
Perfect place for a large group to enjoy
We had a great family reunion at the Penrod home. The layout is ideal for family cohesiveness without being on top of each other. Loved the large dining table that ALL 12 of us could fit around. The Cabin is very well stocked especially the kitchen, lots of seasonings, sandwich bags, large platters and cooking utensils and plenty of dishes for everyone, but no stemmed wine glasses. It would have been nice if there were some empty cabinets for us to put our food in. There was a lot of food in the cabinets (much of it expired) so we left our food in bags on the counter during our stay. Everything worked great. Plenty of sleeping room and bathrooms for everyone. The water heater gave us plenty of hot showers. We took the canoe out in the lake and really enjoyed the use of it. (Had no problem with the trolley that is provided.) There looked to be some nice quality bikes in the garage, (4 adult bikes I think), although we did not use them. The outdoor grill is not gas, you have to buy coals and lighter fluid. All in all a very nice place for the entire group.
Wonderful stay. Love the Great Room and windows.
Nice to have 4 bathrooms. Kitchen set up well.
