This beautiful loft is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, within easy walking distance of historic Old Town Fort Collins, the main library, museums and Colorado State University. The loft is located on the second floor of a c.1902 brick carriage house. An interior staircase brings you to an open living space punctuated by large windows which let in an abundance of natural light. Original wood floors run the length of the space as well as into the adjacent bedroom. Exposed brick walls add a rustic charm and a large kitchen island allows plenty of space for working on your laptop or cutting up vegetables from the farmer's market for a fresh salad.
The location and setting of this property make it the perfect place to stay while exploring what Fort Collins and the region have to offer.

About Kelly Josephs
Originally from Wisconsin, we're CSU alumni who fell in love with the area and stayed after graduation. We love living in Fort Collins. We've started a business here, raised our family here, and sent our kids to CSU as well. By inviting guests to stay in our loft, we hope they get to experience some of the things that have made Fort Collins a place we don't want to leave.
Kelly Josephs purchased this Guest House in 1996
Why Kelly Josephs chose Old Town
We first moved to Fort Collins from the midwest, to attend CSU. In the 30 years since, we've raised a family, created a thriving business, and set down roots in the Old Town area. We feel very lucky to be surrounded by interesting people, beautiful landscapes, and a wide range of activities to enjoy. There's no other place we'd rather be.

This is the most charming, comfortable, and thoughtfully done apartment. There is so much character in every inch of it. It is very easy to tell that Kelly and her family have put a lot of effort into making this place a “home away from home.” The location is perfect- very walkable to downtown- and parking was also easy and convenient (I had a car rental that I needed to use daily while here.) it was peacefully quiet and the welcoming touches (fresh eggs, milk and juice upon arrival waiting in the fridge, etc.) were so appreciated. I have absolutely not a single negative comment. Plus, the resident chickens are adorable:)
My wife and I stayed at this beautiful cottage during a recent visit to Fort Collins. It’s a wonderful, quaint and private cottage. We loved the fresh eggs and orange juice/milk waiting for us. It made for a great breakfast the next morning. We walked to old town Fort Collins on a couple occasions. This place is filled with charm and we would stay again when in the area!
The carriage house was a perfect spot for our weekend getaway. We walked almost everywhere we wanted to go, thoroughly enjoyed the access to all downtown has to offer. Great care has gone into the remodel and use of space. Kelly was wonderful to work with. Although we ate our meals out, use of the kitchen for snacks and evening tea was great.
There was a thoughtful stash of breakfast items to get you started in case you got in late and weren't up for an early morning out. We didn't find spices and storage bags/containers, things like that, if you are planning on doing your meals in. It was quiet and comfortable and we will definitely be coming back.
Location, Comfort and Style
Touring around the area this was the perfect launch pad for our adventures. We'll definitely be back. Every detail was thought out in its design and finishes. Rustic floors, corrugated metal, hex tiles, full kitchen, apple tv and don't forget the fresh eggs! The bed was comfortable and the shower was pure luxury. The skylights provide great natural light and the perfect vantage point to watch the snow fall. Once in Ft. Collins we rarely drove as we were centrally located to CSU and Old Town. This is the place to stay in Ft. Collins.
it was a charming place with lots of fine craftmanship-
we enjoyed our stay, loved the neighborhood, we were there for a graduation at csu and it was nicely located to walk most places, they have a beautiful place with lots of evident care 💗🌟
Great carriage house apartment.
Well maintained and carefully crafted. 3 blocks from old town, yet in a quite location. Super place for a couple days or an extended stay. Fresh eggs are a great touch. Will make this my place when in town.
