I used to be a computer geek, studied at UCLA, my brother Gus used to be an apartment saleman. Now Gus and I are managing the apartment hosting guests from all over the world.
Will & Gus purchased this apartment in 2010
The apartment is very close to a subway station (Re di Roma), so it's easy to reach main city attractions like the Colosseum or Vatican. There are many shops in the area and the famous king of tiramisu POMPI.
This apartment, for the most part, satisfied our needs during our 8 day stay in Rome. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and well-maintained, and provided easy access to the A line Re di Roma station. Will, the landlord, was responsive and helpful, particularly in scheduling car service from and to the airport. There were some annoyances, however, which should be mentioned. One was a lack of restaurants in the neighborhood. Another was the sudden disappearance of hot water during a shower. It sometimes returned; on other occasions it didn't. Also we were disappointed that the TV cable carried no English speaking channels, so we couldn't follow the post-election news (although we were able to access it through the internet). Strangely, there were no clocks to be found in the apartment. Finally, the motion-activated hallway light would flick on in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. Despite these annoyances, the apartment served as a good base for exploring the Eternal City and its wonderful antiquities, museums and monuments.
We felt very much at home. Thank you again for everything!
Property was well presented and had everything you required. Location close to metro station which made fetting in the centre of Rome very easy.
We would recommend this apartment to family and friends. We would book this again without any hesitation.
Thankyou Will for making our stay exhilarating!!!!!!

This was an amazing property! It was perfect for two couples. Very clean and organized. We were met by Will and Miriam at the beginning of our stay. They answered all our questions. The apartment is in a great location. Close to the metro and lots of fun restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again when in Rome.
We totally loved this apartment on via tortona, just 5 minutes from the metro snd on the bus routes.
Place was beautifully decorated and included high quality linens, towels and kitchen. Nespresso machine was a nice bonus. Incredible bathrooms.
Will and Gus were very attentive and helpful. Excellent hosts.
Affordable luxury in a great location!
This apartment has everything you need (and then some) for a perfect visit to Rome. It's a charming, very old building that has been updated with modern conveniences like a fast, smooth, lift (elevator). We never had to wait more than 30 seconds for the lift. The apartment is extremely spacious, well-equipped and well-lit. The bathrooms have been completely updated with modern fixtures and walk-in showers (warning- don't be surprised with the hot-cold-hot-cold water in the shower. This is typical in Europe and not a reflection on this apartment specifically). Each bedroom has a balcony and if you are lucky enough with the weather it's nice to open the doors and let the fresh air in. The front of the building is on a busy street (with yes, graffiti) but the apartment is quiet. There is a church next door and the bells sound wonderful throughout the day. There is a market directly across the street that carries anything you'll need for your stay. The kitchen has everything you'll need including a Nespresso Machine with a supply of pods. The family room is equipped with a large flat TV, surround sound, and the PC is connected to the TV so you can watch Netflix, look up restaurants, or catch up on webmail. The Wi-Fi works great and there is A/C in every room (both bedrooms, family room, and kitchen). This was a blessing since we hit an unexpected heat wave and it was 93 degrees with 80% humidity. I cannot say enough about Miriam and Will. Miriam checked us in and gave us recommendations on how to make our visit the best possible. She is a wonderful and interesting woman and clearly explained everything in detail for the apartment. The owner, Will, had to come to the apartment to fix an small issue and he was so nice and accommodating. The location of this apartment is not really within walking distance of much. However, the Metro station is literally around the corner (5 min. tops) and that line will take you everywhere you need to go (Vatican, Trevi, Spanish Steps, and best shopping areas). Yes, you can walk to the Coliseum, Circus Maximus, Forum and Palatine Hill, but it's not a short stroll, it's a beautiful 30-45 min. walk with lots of sights along the way. FYI - The Metro is really not convenient to these spots (need to switch lines) so it is either walk or taxi (about 10 euros each way). There are a multitude of restaurants in the immediate area. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment and hopefully we will be able to stay here again.
