Quaint and quiet tiny home!

  • 5 of 5

Great property! The minute you turn down the driveway you escape all of reality. The perfect place to just get away and fish all day, if you want. The cottage was super cute and perfect for two people. If you need somewhere to go to just decompress from your everyday hectic life - this is the place to go. Just a few tips: bug spray, citronella candles, yard bug defogger, and sunscreen are a must if you plan on being outside and around the property day and night; fridge is small (which is noted in property details) - we had a large cooler, as well, and were just fine; check kitchen shelf for items you may have forgotten to bring - owner does a great job of already having certain items there for use; flashlight/lantern a must if you want to be out around the property at night - river house dark is definitely a lot darker than city dark; outside shower isn't bad - we would open it up each evening, spray for bugs and then keep a citronella candle in there while each of us showered. Overall we had a fabulous time and couldn't have asked for anything better. Thanks to the owner for sharing her property with the world because it does promote the creation of lasting memories.

Charming cottage !

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet weekend away here without the kids. The cottage is adorable and had everything we needed for the weekend. We loved the outdoor shower and the inground pool was wonderful to cool off and relax in....we had it to ourselves the whole time. The cottage was very clean and the linens provided were high quality. The AC was window unit, but we found it to be very sufficient at keeping the cottage cool during the high temps. We ate at the Frying Pan for breakfast and Jerry's Place for dinner. Don't be fooled by the location of Jerry's place (right next to an auto shop), the crab was out of this world and Jerry is friendliest owner! We checked out Solomon's Island and did a nice taste testing at Perigeoux winery. We definitely recommend this little gem. Thanks for sharing your great little cottage, Cheryl!

Great Little Cottage for 2

  • 4 of 5

The owner of the cottage is lovely. Very helpful and friendly. Having the pool nearby was a real treat especially given the 90+ degree weather! The cottage was clean and comfortable and comfortably outfitted. We even figured out how to have breakfast and lunch using the items that came with the cottage like the microwave, toaster and tiny refrigerator. I think the only way to improve on the cottage would be to add an umbrella to the deck which is very sunny so it could be used more. Loved the outdoor shower. Had a really excellent dining experience at Heritage 485, recommended by the owner. Try it. And the cottage!

Lovely little cottage!

  • 5 of 5

My fiancé and I had such a sweet time here! We came early thanks to ms. Cheryl. From the moment we walked in, this little cottage was so clean, and vintage yet updated, all white, bright and cheery. So cute! The views are beautiful, the pool is so relaxing and the outdoor shower was my favorite! The decor was so cute and everything was high end, from the toiletries, to the linens. There is just a small area for food and no stove, so eating out a lot will probably be your go to. But that didn't bother us at all! We ate great local food, mm mm mm! Check out the frying pan in lusby. Delicious! We brought a lot of food with us not knowing the kitchen setup completely but we were prepared because ms Cheryl offered us more room for food in a much bigger fridge in the pool house. Propane grill was great! The bed is a double/full bed so it's a little bit of a struggle for two bigger adults lol, but was pretty comfy. The last day I woke up for the sunrise on the dock and it was beautiful. Overall, Cheryl's place is bright and airy, so peaceful and serene. I would describe it as glamping with high end amenities. Which is my style! But not everyone's. So just keep in mind, there's a little work to cook and clean dishes and stuff but the place is totally worth checking out! We thank you so much ms. Cheryl for our wonderful stay!
