We had a wonderful time in Branson and loved the condo we stayed in. One f the reviews said it didn't have a microwave but there is a built in one right above the stove. The large porch we great to eat breakfast with the family before it got to hot. The information was very helpful we received from the owner. The unit was very clean which is a must for me. We enjoyed the pool and played a little tennis. We will go again and we will stay in this unit.
We had a family reunion and part of the family had rented 2 units down the way. (On a side note, the map on this site shows this to be RIGHT NEXT DOOR. I thought the address was funny so I contacted HomeAway and was told it was one over. It was more like 6 over. EXTREMELY disappointing as we had old people and such and wanted to be as close as possible to make it easy for everyone to see each other.) Our unit was nice overall, but needed some minor maintenance, there were tiles broken and wiggly in the kitchen, not many bathroom towels, one had a bleach stain and hole in it (and other minor things). No bathroom mats, which meant towels had to go on the floor and I had to buy some at Walmart. (One was in the closet but it looked like it had paint on it.) My uncle's condo had a notebook that had maps to the parks, pool, info about the area and general information (not to mention a Wii and board games as well as a pancake mix and syrup as a gift) we did not have anything and had to search out the park (which was nightmare trying to find) and had to figure out what to do with the trash. The instructions state to leave the condo as it was found, but that doesn't tell you what to do with the bedding, towels, trash, etc. Are you supposed to vacuum? The ad also states "high speed internet" but my husband is in IT and tested it and it was def. NOT. I am self employed and had to do emails and such and what normally takes less than a minute at home took close to 30 minutes just to download emails! Overall, it's a nice suite, bigger porch than my uncle had, the owner was friendly. Came with a garage (although, you don't get a garage door opener so you have to run into the house and go through and open it and do the reverse to get out). Great views, but the sun does set on the back porch, so in the summer, you can't really go out there unless it's first thing in the morning or right after sunset. Could use some fans on the porch and some more lighting. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and one bedroom upstairs. each has it's own bathroom. There is a laundry room in the hall bathroom that is connected to a bedroom. The dryer had to be turned on twice to get a load dry, FYI. Another review put that there was no microwave, which concerned us, but there was in fact one. There are glass cups, so if you have kids, bring plastic!
This condo was perfect for our five night stay with our group of 7 including 3 young kids, parents and two grandparents. Large rooms and plenty of space. We could have stayed several more days. Because of all the things to do in the area, we really didn't find ourselves spending a lot of time at the condo, but when we were there, it was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the screened-in porch.
The clubhouse with the pool and restaurant was a few minutes drive away and it was not crowded (we were there during the week); we all enjoyed that space. We really liked having easy access to Silver Dollar City and many of the other activities and shows while at the same time staying in the Stonebridge Community away from the hustle and bustle. If you want to stay closer to the lake or on the water, this is not the location for you. It was a quiet area yet still close to all the major attractions in Branson.
The unit was missing a few things that were minor detractions -- no bath mats, missing toilet paper holder, a few broken blinds, and some loose tiles on the kitchen floor -- but those can be easily remedied and didn't really take away from the overall experience. There were some nice touches such as the coffee maker, toaster oven, plenty of kitchen supplies, and extra toilet paper and paper towels.
This was a great place for us to stay on our first visit to Branson!
I took the wife and kids to Branson to visit Silver Dollar City and the outlets. We found this condo and booked it. Very happy with our stay and would stay at this condo again.
The condo accommodated our family with ease. The kids loved the bedrooms and we loved the area.
Condo is about 6 minutes to Silver Dollar City. This was a big plus to us. The Branson strip is only ~8 minutes away. Great location with none of the traffic or noise of staying near the strip.
The condo backs up on to the golf course with hills in the background. The view is very nice and relaxing.
During our stay, the A/C went out. The management company responded very quickly and offered to get a repairman out to us in 2-3 hours. We declined as the day was not hot and the nights were cool and we were checking the next morning. No real need for A/C anyway. The point is that they were ready to get the issue fixed in a very timely manner on a weekend.
Some things to be aware of:
1. The unit does not have a microwave. Not an issue for us as we were eating out every meal.
2. Using the mapping tool on our phone led us to the back gate (unmanned). The owner might want to include the front gate address or the cross street for the main entrance (highway 76 and stonebridge parkway) for easier mapping.
3. The unit has a condo sized electric hot water heater. We had to schedule our showers so that we would all have hot water (teenage girls use LOTS of hot water). My suggestion would be to install a tankless hot water heater.
We go to Branson a few times per year and this is the best place we have stayed so far. Will be booking this condo when we return to Branson.
This condo had everything for my Dad who is handicapped, my kids, my husband and me. We cooked in the kitchen, played cards on the screened in porch, shopped for school clothes, went to Silver DollarCity, rested, enjoyed movies then came home. You don't get better then that.
The condo was great. Nice screened patio and plenty of room to relax. The Stonebridge neighborhood is upscale and we'll maintained. The owner was helpful, easy to talk to and available. I would definitely stay here again.
