Owner / Property Manager purchased this cabin in 2004
Stayed here with a group of nine for a girls trip. Everyone loved it and there was a perfect amount of space. We even saw a fox outside!
The house was lovely and had a beautiful view of the mountains and trees. We even saw a fox and a couple of moose! It's a bit of a drive from Breckenridge (20 minutes) but worth it for the secluded and serene experience. Make sure you have four-wheel drive because it's off the beaten path a bit!
The cabin had amazing views and was great for relaxing. Plenty of room in the cabin and the kitchen was stocked with all the items needed. Enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and master bathroom shower and tub! Recommend for getting away and enjoying peace and quiet with wonderful scenery.
The Rustic Get Away is the way to go. I reserved the home so my family and I could celebrate my mother's 80th birthday and spend time together during the Thanksgiving Holidays. We were not disappointed. The home is gorgeous and will truly accommodate 12 guest very comfortably with room to spare unless you have the unusual situation of 6 people attempting to prepare a meal all at the same time in the well appointed kitchen. All utensils, cook ware, linen, towels etc are supplied and there is an outdoor gas grill if you don't mind braving the winter weather. I'm sure it would be fantastic in the warmer months. There is also a hot tub, and two jetted tubs as well. Definitely pay close attention to the weather and as advised, please travel via 4x4 during the winter months. The area is mountainous with steep inclines. One other note. Be sure to hydrate days before your arrival and if traveling with elder family members pay clos attention to their vitals. The property is 1,100+ feet in elevation. You will feel the effects and altitude sickness is nothing to play with. Every one of my family member experienced symptoms. Some more than others so please be advised.
But again it was the best vacation ever mainly because of the home's welcoming vibes, unexpected amenities, breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. Worth every penny and then some.
