Owner / Property Manager purchased this cabin in 2004
This home in Breckenridge was very beautiful with plenty of room and just wonderful views. It is a short drive to the beautiful town of Breckenridge where we had one good meal after another. There is plenty to do including for a family like mine ranging from 7-19. If you just want to relax and be in a very quiet, beautiful place this home will fit the bill with a great deck, hot tub and fire pit. We hope to be back again sometime and the owner was very accommodating.
The house itself is gorgeous, the views are incredible, but it seems like they didn't work too hard to clean the house be we arrived. There was a lot of dust inside, making everyone sneeze a lot. Some cob webs up in the rafters that were very visible. Like I said the place is great, just wish it was cleaner.
Cabin was very nice. Make sure to have 4X4 or snow chains in the winter.
Mattress in the master was a little uncomfortable. My feet were higher then my head. Also, expected a little better quality cooking utensils in the kitchen. Pots and pans were a little worn.
Overall, nice stay!
We had an amazing time way up here on the mountains staying in this beautiful home. Built all with logs and complete with rustic furniture, yet with the latest technology including satellite internet and TV. The fireplace area with the kitchen nearby made for a great gathering place to not only have dinner but to rekindle the experiences of the day and plan the ones for the next. Our party consisted of seven guests and everyone was comfortable. Folks, as the owner remarks on his instructions you do need an all wheel drive vehicle to get up here in the winter as there is piles of snow everywhere and you do risk sliding and getting stuck without it, but that was part of the fun of staying up here in the mountains. If you're looking for peace and quiet and amazing views while in the mountains high up in Breckenridge this is the place to do it in. We WILL return !
When I first came to this amazing cabin, the first thing I noticed was the amazing views. It was amazing to be able to sit in a hot tub and just relax and watch the views of the valley overlooking Breckenridge. Once inside, I found the cabin to be spotless and superbly clean, example, floors appeared to be carpet cleaned. I truly enjoyed the huge windows in the living room, and even the loft bedroom on the top floor was cute and still held the wow factor of views. Very spacious, open styled floor plans, and even can accommodate large families (lots of beds!) If you enjoy cooking, then the kitchen is a perfect fit. I was able to find gourmet food items and lots of cooking materials, my favorite item was the oven! Not to worry, there's always a local grocery store within minutes.. not to mention hiking trails nearby! Whether you're a beginner or expert in hiking, they're both available to your use. Master bedroom had this awesome custom made bed frame to match the cabin's log style. There's also a sign in sheet, was great to see people from all around the country who have also enjoyed their stays at this one of a kind cabin. I'll be booking my next stay very soon!
Priceless view and beautiful home however the home was NOT cleaned! We arrived later Saturday evening to find the home not well cleaned. Beds sheets were clean but floors and bathrooms filthy, cobwebs everywhere with lots of dust and mouse poop on the fire place mantle. Also hot water heater wasn't working. Water heater got repaired within 24 hours. When the owner was notified by us of the uncleanliness it was an argument. We were told someone would be out to clean after arguing with him. It was never cleaned! The maid sprayed febreeze in the entry way and set a can of pledge on the kitchen cabinet for us to dust.
