Owner / Property Manager purchased this townhome in 2005
Didn't realize until we arrived how close the home is to transition area. House was clean and has a well stocked kitchen. Will stay here if we make it back next year.
Took my dad (age 73) to The Masters for his first time. This townhouse worked out well. It is well appointed with two comfortable bedrooms each with own bath/shower. Sitting area with cable + wifi. Good location for eating/drinking at downtown restaurants after watching golf all day. Convenient to Augusta National - only about a 10 minute drive. Owner (Helen) and Manager (Don) were terrific and very knowledgeable. They even had extra Masters chairs for us to use that week. Great time!
We won four tickets to the Masters practice round on Monday so needed a place to stay for the two couples. This location was perfect and the place was very nice, clean and had all the amenities we needed. It served us very well for our Masters experience. Helen and Don were very helpful both over the phone prior to our arrival and Don was great to chat with when we arrived. All stores closed on Sunday was a surprise but that's our fault. We should have researched that a little more. And overall not a bad thing to save a few dollars!!
We booked this well in advance of Augusta 70.3 for 2015 and we are so thankful that we did. The house was absolutely what we were looking for and made us feel like we were at home during our stay. If you are looking to do Augusta 70.3 I recommend this place to anyone, it is literally the closest house you can get to transition and the run course runs directly out front of the house. So its perfect for racers and spectators alike. I would definitely stay here again when we come back for the race!
so often when you look at places online to stay the location was cleaned more for the pictures then for you as a guest ... i was astonished at how much the pictures represented the town house. We loved our stay there and can't wait to go back. the owner and property manager are a PLEASURE to work with!
Very homey and comfortable! Spent thanksgiving cooking and eating our meal there. The bedding was very comfortable and the overall property inside and out was very clean. Would defiantly stay there again.
