Mail Studio Rental Photos and Description

Studio, Studio + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

On a small and quiet street, in the historical center of Paris, this renovated studio (15 square meters) provides you a hype and typically Parisian home. On the second floor of a beautiful 19th century building (no elevator), you will find every thing you need : wifi, high quality sleeping, brand new kitchen ware, washing machine with a dryer. From the wine glasses to the sheets and towels, everything is carefully chosen.

Coming from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport in no time (40 mn) with the RER, you will stop at the Chatelet-Les Halles station. Then a 10 minutes walk by the pedestrian Montorgueil street.

Once settled home, you will shop great bread, fantastic cheese, unforgettable wines and great pastries (Stohrer, best éclairs au chocolat in Paris) on nearby pedestrian rue Montorgueil. You will walk to all major touristic attractions, the Louvre, Centre Georges Pompidou, Notre-Dame, Eiffel Tower, le Marais with great art galleries, clothes and food shops.

Walking in the area, you will discover the old « Passages » : Galerie Vivienne, Passage des Panoramas, Passage des Princes… with surprising shops and interesting architecture.

Coming home, you will call with no charge your friends and family in the United States, South America, Russia, Asia or Europe or chat on your computer, thanks to the unlimited high speed internet access.

Have a great stay !

About Elisabeth Coutrot

A true Parisian, I am a graphic designer who loves to travel abroad and speaks good English.

Elisabeth Coutrot purchased this studio in 2010

Why Elisabeth Coutrot chose 2nd Arrondissement Bourse

I fell in love with this wonderful area. It is a mix of very old Paris and trendy way of living.

'Le Sentier' is the fashion district: small streets and covered 'Passages' with shops of wholesale garments. But also the best choice of shopping, fine restaurants ; you have within walking distance the best of Paris.

Still if you need to take the Metro, Sentier or Bourse are the closest stations, and Chatelet-Les Halles, the point of convergence of the RER (express underground lines that takes you to Versailles castle, CDG Airport, Disneyland…) is 10 minutes'walk.

You will live where all Parisians dream to live !

What makes this studio unique

The studio is small but the ceiling is high, and the 3 windows let the daylight come in generously, so you don't feel like in a small place. The mezzannine allows to have a bed without pulling in and out the sofabed. But if you don't feel like climbing the ladder, the Cinna sofabed will offer you a real comfortable queensize bed.

All is thoroughly chosen, from the tea pot to the sheets.

Great experience

  • 5 of 5

The location of the studio is great, very close to stations with 3 metro lines, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and other shops. The street is however very quiet and there is no noise in the apartment. It is very small but is provided with everything that we needed for our stay (2 people). The bathroom has no window, therefore you have to keep its door open and open the studio windows after showers. Elisabeth always promptly replied to our questions and the organization worked well. We highly recommend it!

Location, location, location!!! :)

  • 5 of 5

The location of the apartment was excellent ! So many restaurants and lovely shops nearby. And.....you can walk to almost any place of interest ! The apartment is quite small, but you have everything you need :) We were 3 girls who like to shop and we still managed to enjoy the apartment ;)

We didn't meet Elisabeth, but her husband arrived at the scheduled time to give us the keys and he was very helpful, showing us all things necessary regarding the apartment.

Would definitely recommend the apartment to my friends and stay there again !

We enjoyed our stay in Paris in spite of the rain. The studio was very conveniently located and we could walk to most places of interested. It was well furnished and clean. We also liked the small restaurants on the near by pedestrian street

Very cute studio in the heart of Paris

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in the studio with my wife and daughter for a week this past July. The space was very clean and equipped with modern furniture & appliances. The studio is perfect for a small family like ours - my daughter slept on the mezzanine and my wife and I were comfortable on the pull-out couch. The best part about it was that it is only a 15-20 minute walk to the Louvre, so it is very centrally located. There are also a million great places to eat around the neighborhood at it was overall a very beautiful, classic Parisian neighborhood. Would stay again if I ever return to Paris.

Loved It!

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect spot for my mom, myself and my daughter. The Marche Montrogrueil was a wealth of food options and the Sentier metro station was so close. The flat had everything we needed. We didn't cook there, but kept a few breakfast goodies and drinks on hand. Elisabeth is a gracious host, even helping us with details upon our arrival to navigate the RER. Hopefully I'll return to Pairs someday, and I'll check with Elisabeth first to see if her flat is available. It as wonderful!
