If you’re seeking a Caribbean beach vacation unlike anything you've ever experienced before, come escape to “Sun Cloud,” a luxury Grand Cayman vacation rental house ideally situated on the island’s picturesque North Side in Rum Point.
With 5 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, and enough sleeping accommodations for up to 10 guests, this grandiose residence is the perfect setting for your upcoming family vacation or greatly-anticipated rejuvenating retreat. From the moment you first arrive, this home makes a statement! You’ll find its interior quite modern with a "barefoot luxury" look and feel, tastefully decorated throughout with comfortable furniture and a variety of other amenities, as well as utmost attention to detail in decor and design to help create an aesthetically pleasing and truly relaxing vacation environment for your island getaway. All the amenities you need to be as comfortable as possible during your stay are here, including wireless internet access, in-unit laundry machines for your convenience, and a fully equipped kitchen, complete with all the necessary cooking appliances. Unbelievable views of the sparkling blue ocean are visible from every room, and you’ll be able to enjoy the calm ocean breeze and swaying palm trees in complete peace and tranquility, as this property offers total privacy. Look forward to spending leisurely afternoons soaking up the balmy Caribbean sun by the home’s private outdoor swimming pool, where you can enjoy swimming with the kids or simply relax with a loved one. You could easily spend an entire day enjoying the pool or the man-made beach located directly in front of the house, accessible via private ocean access on the premises.
One of this home’s most exciting features is its phenomenal waterfront location. You and your travel companions can easily take advantage of world-class snorkeling and diving literally right in front of the house, which means no boat rides - simply slip into your gear and down into the dazzling underwater world below! About 100 yards in front is an incredible reef for snorkeling. Please note that the water entrance to the property’s private ocean access varies in depth and rockiness depending on the season and tides. It’s best for children at low tide, when the area is soft and sandy. High tide and storms can often bring rocks into shore, so ocean shoes are highly recommended!
Want to venture a little further out to sea or explore other attractions in the area? Why not go by boat? Renting a boat is a great way to experience the best of Grand Cayman, including the beautiful 7 mile beach, which can be reached in an easy 10-15 minute boat ride from the house. The owner of this property can help arrange boat rentals during your stay - please inquire for more details!

What a wonderful home in a perfect location! Our extended family enjoyed the views of the ocean, relaxing by the pool, and some easily accessible excursions out of Rum Point and Morritts. The snorkeling right off the backyard was fantastic! We saw lobster, a stingray, and many other beautiful fish. Thank you for the memories and for sharing your home.
This wasn't my first visit to SunCloud and it won't be my last. We were only able to get down for a couple of days this time and then spent another few days at the ritz on seven mile beach. We love Cayman and try to get down as much as possible. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a nice and private home with views to die for, this place has it all. If you want to be closer to the town of Georgetown with more tourist stuff to do, seven mile beach area is probably where to be. Unless you rent a boat in which case you can have it all at SunCloud with a ten minute boat ride to the party. I would also say May is a surprisingly nice month to be down there. We thought it might be too hot. It's warmer on the other side of the island but at the house there's a steady ocean breeze that helps keep things cool. Thanks again Karen and SunCloud. We will be back again soon!
We rarely left the house except to go swimming and snorkeling off the home directly in to the sea. We cooked a lot, drank a lot, slept a lot, did some work admittedly from the pool and just enjoyed the privacy and the beauty. When we wanted action we walked to rum point down the road for meals and water activities. If this home were on seven mile beach where most of the high end restaurants and later night activity is, it would have been perfect.
The home itself is Elegant, private, very reasonably priced for a five bedroom home, a mix of traditional, contemporary and carribean decorating and most importantly the best views ever from nearly ever room imaginable. The colors of the ocean were breathtaking and seductive. The home is on a point so nearly every room has an unobstructed view of the water. We have stayed at many first class villas over the years on many islands and when we don't stay at villas we stay at the four seasons or the ritz Carlton. This beautiful home in this perfect location in this tranquil neighborhood on this safe and peaceful island is truly hard to beat. One of the best for sure. Our only complaint is the infinity pool wasn't working. We didn't let than ruin our stay
Great location! We loved being away from the crowds and loved being near Rum Point. There were great restaurants nearby like over the edge and Tuka. We for sure recommend the bioluninescence tour!! So amazing. The house is beautiful, the water was a little rough so we could not swim or snorkle most days except for one. This was unusual for this time of year it seems! We the loved the island and the food is amazing. There were eight of us in the house (4 kids around 10yrs old and 4 adults). We never felt crowded he house is very spacious! And the views were absolutely amazing- drinking coffee looking out at the water every morning was unforgettable!! I would highly recommend it!
This was a lovely place to spend a week during "snowmaggedon" in the USA. The house was lovely, the service and response time was fantastic. The entire place was clean and well maintained and the scenery was nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to the sun, sand and surf everyday while secluded and with almost no one else in sight was a real treat. Luxury seclusion no doubt.
The Lighthouse restaurant did not disappoint and it's safe to say it was one of our best meals we've ever had and the service was fantastic. The "Over the Edge Café" provided a great option for breakfast, lunch and dinner and was close to the house. Rum Point was right around the corner and has all the amenities...
We bought fresh fish from the local market in George Town and cooked it on several nights with a great bottle of wine.
If you are looking for a place that is secluded, quiet that offers breathtaking views of the Ocean, Sun Cloud is it!
My girlfriends and I went down for a get away and had a wonderful trip. We particularly enjoyed the total privacy that the estate offers and a close second were the views of the blue ocean from nearly every room in the house. The home is elevated about 10 feet above the sea with coral steps that lead directly in to the warm ocean. The pool is beautiful and the hot tub kept us warm at night. Everything about the home is totally private so when we wanted to be social we walked to Rum Point, a 5 minute walk to a semi private large beautiful beach with two restaurants and a beach bar and jet skis. The home is modern and tastefully decorated. We were comfortable and envious. We enjoyed a few luxurious meals catered in, we cooked fresh lobster and only went in to town once during our stay. We had one issue with one or the bathrooms and it was taken care of quickly enough. Hopefully we will make it back. We were thinking this would be a perfect place to have a wedding or film a movie
