The location is unsurpassed, day or night, central to all that is Santa Fe, making this a perfect retreat. We have lived in NM since 2001. We fell in love with the culture and the traditions that make it such a special place. If you are looking for a classic Santa Fe Style with modern amenities and location to all that is Santa Fe, you have found it at Casa Pequena! A cozy retreat in the heart of Santa Fe!
We have spent time at the Casita to ensure that every detail is in place for your comfort! The energetic Railyard District featuring the SF Farmers Market, Galleries, shopping and restaurants is just blocks away to the west. The Plaza and surround historic paths are just blocks away to the north. Old Santa Fe Trail and the Canyon Rd areas are just a few blocks away to the east. Location, Location, Location! that is a wonderful and unique benefit to Casa Pequena, nestled in the heart of Santa Fe.
We stayed for a week in the casita and found it to be an excellent base for exploring this wonderful city. The property was as described and is located in a quiet residential street within easy walking distance of the Plaza and Railyard.
We also made use of the free Santa Fe Pickup and apart from a couple of days out and an evening visit to the opera (wonderful), we had little need for a car.
One small quibble, there is a lack of storage space for clothes for people staying for a week.
Basic accommodation but we'll located. Enjoyed Santa Fe for the opera. Had a good time.

We never read these "reviews", preferring to find other ways to judge the properties we short let in Europe and US; we also never write. This is an exception. The property was A-one, with no faults that we could discover. "Location, location, location"; clean, safe, quiet, close; and the landlords are exceptional. We will stay again next year for the week of opera which we so enjoyed and Casa Pequenita's role in making the week so enjoyable. Thanks!
My husband and I immediately fell in love with this small and cozy house. We found it spotlessly clean with fresh smelling linens and sheets. The a/c unit & fan kept the house cool & comfortable during the hottest temperatures during our stay.
As you can tell, I'm a finicky person and the house was kept just as I would have kept mine. Amber and Bill left us some good recommendations for eating & shopping. Santa Fe is a beautiful city and we were close to all the best attractions. Glad we found this property.

Cozy and perfect for our 5 day visit to Santa Fe, within easy walking to the square, rail yard, etc. Amber was so easy to deal with, Let us know that the home was ready early, really appreciated that. Lots of current info about the area provided. ONLY disappointment....it was just too hot to enjoy the fireplace!!
Santa Fe has a diverse offering to those who want to be active and for those who are looking for serenity in their get away! Ski Santa Fe is 30 mins away, hiking trails 15 mins, exceptional shopping and restaurants are less than 5 mins away. For those who want a wilderness experience, Pecos River Canyon area is 30 mins away. Taos is 90 mins away. The 'High Road' tour is an excellent day trip thru Northern New Mexico and its unique villages. Santa Fe dining is diverse and exceptional for such a quaint location. The major acitivity in the area is the 'arts', Palace Ave, Canyon Rd, The Plaza areas all offer unique gallery experiences for the new and experienced collector! Be sure to check out the work of your Host, William Haskell, American Regional artist, at Manitou Galleries on Palace ave. Don't miss the Friday night art walks on Canyon Rd and the 1st Friday Art Crawl of the West Palace Avenue Arts District, just off the plaza and Museum Hill!
