To be clear, this building does NOT have air conditioning (almost NO buildings-less than 5%- in Seattle have central air conditioning). Also, be aware that this is a urban environment. In any urban core, you can expect to hear street noise, often late into the evening. If a silent outdoor environment is important to you, downtown Seattle (or any big city for that matter) may not be the best place for you to stay. That being said, this unit in the heart of Seattle--walkable to all the best Seattle has to offer-- and has high quality, noise muffling windows and heavy duty construction. Any questions about this, ask! We want our guests to be happy.
My wife, Sally and I are excited for you to stay with us! We originally purchased a condo in Belltown to use as a second home in the winter of 2007.
Because of our knack at hosting, great marketing and amazing design, what was just an investment has become a full time business. We currently have 30 properties in the heart of Downtown Seattle that we either own or manage on the behalf of others.
Sally is an interior designer by trade, and I'm sure you'll be able to tell when it comes to the quality items to help you feel comfortable while you are staying with us.
We take our position as hosts very seriously. Our condos are cleaned immaculately and have the best staff in the business. We are both foodies, and welcome the ability to share with you the best places in the city!
Thanks, and we look forward to hosting you!
Darik Eaton purchased this condo in 2008
This building is centrally located; close to the Pike Place Market, flagship Nordstrom, Space Needle and Seattle Center, and Seattle waterfront. We are surrounded by an eclectic urban neighborhood, full of shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
You will love our property! You can pack light. We provide everything you will need to make you comfortable during your stay. Besides towels and linens, we provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels. A high chair and pack n play are available for a flat rental.
The condo itself was located in a good location even though we had a car we walked to many area restaurants and shopping. The amount of Homeless people in the area was a bit concerning even more so if you had to leave windows open at night due to no AC and you could hear them. We heard one Homeless man coughing all night. The Transit was located right outside of our windows and the noise was non stop along with sirens etc. Not a peaceful place to get a good nights sleep or to sit on the deck to relax.
The Condo needed some updating with paint and woodwork due to wear especially in the bedroom. Nightstands in bedroom were very worn and the only piece of furniture to put anything on. The kitchen was done nicely it had the basics and the living area was very small but fine. Couldn't get the WIFI to work. Two people max for this unit four would be overcrowded.
The welcome basket (actually no basket it was just sitting on the counter) consisted of two small bottles of sparkling water, one bag of microwave popcorn a few mints and tea bags. We immediately went to locate a place to buy some supplies.
Found the people within the building to be friendly. Had some great food did a lot of exploring on foot and by car.
They made sure we had all the info we needed with clear directions and an app for convenience . The apartment is just as pictuted-compact and everything we needed!
The vacation rental staff made it so easy to stay! The apartment was exactly as advertised. We had an issue and they called and fixed it right away. We were very pleased overall. Would stay again!
We just got back from our 4 night stay in Seattle. This place was wonderful for two adults and one 2 year old. This was a wonderful location! We walked everywhere on our trip. The condo was fully equipped, which was very helpful for our stay. The check in and out process was flawless. The condo was a little warm, but there were multiple fans to help. We went up to relax and have fun on the roof top. The app was useful to. Thanks!
This place is small, but well laid out! We stayed for 3 nights (spouse, daughter, and myself) and were quite comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go during our stay including the city center (Space Needle, Pacific Science Museum, and EMP Museum), Pike Place Market, the Waterfront (Aquarium, Argosy Cruise, and Wheel), and SO many great restaurants! It was easy to find and easy to get into, even at 1 a.m. when our flight arrived. Thank you so much for being a part of our lovely long weekend getaway!
We loved staying here in Seattle for 2 nights. The apartment is perfect, balcony was nice, full kitchen and washer dryer. The bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn't really give you privacy. We didn't mind this but some people might so it's worth noting. The only thing was this apartment is super hot. We had the windows all open and the door to the balcony on a cold day/night. We thought the place would get freezing because it was so cold outside but it was still uncomfortably warm. We made sure there was no heat on and had all the fans blasting so I'm really not sure how it was so hot! Everything else really was great though, it didn't ruin our stay. The managers were very accommodating as well and easy to reach. Free parking on site was a huge plus!
Our beautiful property is centrally located in downtown Seattle. From it, you are an easy walk from the waterfront, Pike Place Market, flagship Nordstrom and the retail core, and Seattle Center. 100's of restaurants are in this neighborhood, along with unique shops and nightlife.
