Convenient to CenturyLink Field, the Safe (Safeco Field), Museums, shopping, nightlife and the convention center, the MODA building is just blocks from Puget Sound and the Waterfront Shops, not to mention all the shops and restaurants in Belltown. Seattle's famous Space Needle is just blocks away, as is The Pike Place Market!
Tastefully furnished and decorated, guests enjoy wireless internet throughout, 2 flat screen televisions and some of the most breathtaking views of the city, mountains, from the rooftop BBQ Deck. A complete kitchen makes entertaining easy and convenient. Included are hotel mattresses and luxurious bedding. This is among the most comfortable private vacation rental properties on offer in the entire Seattle market. Included with this condo are private secure parking and a fully outfitted fitness center and lobby lounge with Pool Table.
To be clear, this building does NOT have air conditioning (almost NO buildings-less than 5%- in Seattle have central air conditioning). Also, be aware that this is a urban environment. In any urban core, you can expect to hear street noise, often late into the evening. If a silent outdoor environment is important to you, downtown Seattle (or any big city for that matter) may not be the best place for you to stay. That being said, this unit in the heart of Seattle--walkable to all the best Seattle has to offer-- and has high quality, noise muffling windows and heavy duty construction. Any questions about this, ask! We want our guests to be happy.
My wife, Sally and I are excited for you to stay with us! We originally purchased a condo in Belltown to use as a second home in the winter of 2007.
Because of our knack at hosting, great marketing and amazing design, what was just an investment has become a full time business. We currently have 30 properties in the heart of Downtown Seattle that we either own or manage on the behalf of others.
Sally is an interior designer by trade, and I'm sure you'll be able to tell when it comes to the quality items to help you feel comfortable while you are staying with us.
We take our position as hosts very seriously. Our condos are cleaned immaculately and have the best staff in the business. We are both foodies, and welcome the ability to share with you the best places in the city!
Thanks, and we look forward to hosting you!

This building is centrally located; close to the Pike Place Market, flagship Nordstrom, Space Needle and Seattle Center, and Seattle waterfront. We are surrounded by an eclectic urban neighborhood, full of shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
You will love our property! You can pack light. We provide everything you will need to make you comfortable during your stay. Besides towels and linens, we provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels. A high chair and pack n play are available for a flat rental.
We stayed for 2 nights on our way to a cruise so we had a lot of luggage. There was no linen closet so both closets had laundry baskets full of towels, blankets, pillows then also had an ironing board/iron, fans and extra items so there was no room in the closets for luggage. That was a pain, but the worst was the bathroom door. We had 5 people staying, a husband & wife, thier daughter and her friend (25 yrs old) and the wife's sister. The bathroom door is a barn door so it DOES NOT CLOSE, it slides in front of the opening! As anyone walks by, you can see in the sides of the door so the bathroom is NOT private. Everyone was uncomfortable. I will say, the location was great and very central to the tourist spots.
I'll start with the bad and end with the good. You should know that you are above a bus stop. Not just any bus stop, mind you, but a bus with loud people every 5 minutes or less. It is not quiet. The other downside is the bathroom "door." It is a see through sliding closet door that leaves a gaping area on each side. Want to go to the barhroom? Everyone at the dinner table can see you. We had a party of 6. They knew what you were up to in there.
That said, it's a darling condo that comfortably fit all 6 of us. Walking distance to everything you could hope to see, or if not, hey there's a bus stop right below! I love this place and would stay here every time I go. Fantastic people watching and comfortable beds.
The place was clean and comfortable. It was a little loud, but that's expected in the city. Excellent to be able to walk everywhere.
Sadly, the front bedroom is too noisy to be functional. In fact, we left after only 2 of our planned 5 nights because no one could sleep. The bedroom is directly above a busy bus stop, across the street from a building where a lot of homeless congregate (and yell at all hours of the night) and around the corner from the fire station. It was impossible to sleep there. The back bedroom wasn't as noisy (with a fan to help drown the noise) but it wasn't comfortable for our family of 4 to share the one room, so we had to leave. It really is a shame because the location and amenities are perfect.
We spent 2 nights in mode and our only complaint was the street noise which we did expect. The bus stop right below was so loud that we couldn't keep the windows open to sleep. Location is really good. Within walking distance to ball park, Pike's Place market and downtown shopping. Seattle seems to be getting more street people and many areas smell of urine.
Our beautiful property is centrally located in downtown Seattle. From it, you are an easy walk from the waterfront, Pike Place Market, flagship Nordstrom and the retail core, and Seattle Center. 100's of restaurants are in this neighborhood, along with unique shops and nightlife.
