To be clear, A/C is provided via a window unit during summer months (almost NO buildings-less than 5%- in Seattle have central air conditioning). Also, be aware that this is a urban environment. In any urban core, you can expect to hear street noise, often late into the evening. If a silent outdoor environment is important to you, downtown Seattle (or any big city for that matter) may not be the best place for you to stay. That being said, this unit in the heart of Seattle--walkable to all the best Seattle has to offer-- and has high quality, noise muffling windows and heavy duty construction. Any questions about this, ask! We want our guests to be happy.

Convenient & Comfortable

  • 4 of 5

This place was conveniently located and Seattle Oasis proved to be friendly, hospitable, and easy to communicate with. We were able to arrange an earlier check in time and they were also helpful with tips for storing our luggage. Daniel was very kind and informative - not only of the space but of Seattle in general. It was very nice to be welcomed by him.

Not to sound too vain, but we were getting dressed up for a couple of events on the town and missed having a full-length mirror to make sure we were put together enough. The bath robes, though, were luxurious! Thank you!

Belltown Property

  • 4 of 5

The best thing about this property is the easy walking distance to the Seattle Center, Space Needle, Chihuly, and Pike Place Market. The least favorite thing about this property is the location over a bakery and a pizza place. Though the food at both of these places was great, the pizza place had a bar open until 2 am. with many loud patrons leaving in the early hours of the morning. And then the bakery, pizza place, and local grocery store would have their deliveries come at 4:30 am. Very hard to sleep though all that noise.

Nice place to stay for one or two people. Property is clean and staff very helpful.

The property is close to everything for good access to transportation, sites and restaurants. This location is a good one to put on list. Can be a little noisy but there is a sound machine that works. Macrina Bakery downstairs is an added plus.

Owner's Response: Thanks for taking the time to review our little property, and thanks for the kind words. It is VERY centrally located, so getting around the town is a piece of cake. It is VERY centrally located, so as we make very clear in our listing, there is urban noise, often late into the evening. This is common in any large metro area, so if you are noise sensitive, please ask BEFORE booking. We will describe the noise in honest terms. As our guest, we want you to be happy. As this guest stated, it is a "little" noisy, in that this is a third floor condo, so you can hear traffic, sirens, and louder pedestrian activity.

Loving this City life

  • 4 of 5

I go to Seattle often to visit family, but I normally stay South or North of the City. This time we chose to stay right downtown in this cute condo. I felt right at home here. My sister lived in this neighborhood for 4 years. It can be noisy at night on the weekends as the bars close down at 2 and everyone is heading out. The location is great though. There's a pizza place and a bakery just downstairs and a Starbuck's one block away. If you're away from your dogs and missing them, there's a dog park a few blocks away to get your puppy fix. It's near Dan's Grocery Market which is very clean market with super friendly staff. And of course, it's a quick walk to the Pike Place Market. SOV's staff member was very helpful and nice in getting us checked in and letting us know all the details about the building. It was ideal having on-site parking because we did get a rental car. As one other review mentioned, the bed was not comfortable. I'd have to agree. My sister was fine, but I slept on the couch. Even so, I would still stay there again.

Exceeded our expectations

  • 5 of 5

The condo was in a great location (easy walk to Pike Market) and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, and there was plenty of room. The management was very helpful. This this property included indoor parking - we didn't need it but it was very convenient. I would highly recommend this for someone looking to experience downtown Seattle. There is an awesome Italian Restaurant around the corner - LaVitaBella, it was our favorite of the trip and very close by.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your kind words about this lovely little vacation rental. It really is in a perfect spot to enjoy all that Seattle has to offer! Everything is within walking distance, which makes a car superfluous. The condo itself is lovely, in warm tones that counteract even a gray Seattle day. There is even a king sized bed, which can be rare in downtown Seattle!
