Marco Island is the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, located on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. It has been described as Magical, Mystical and Alluring. The attraction is tropical sun-washed white beaches and a casual easy paced life style. Sunshine, frolicking dolphins, and all of the water and sun sports that go with the beaches are available for your pleasure. You can go shopping in the shopping centres in Naples and Ft. Myers or the outlet mall on the I-75 (about 25 minutes).
The restaurants will delight your taste buds with fresh seafood and their wonderful island creations. Explore the wilderness of the Ten Thousand Islands by land, boat or air. Enjoy superb fishing and abundant wildlife.
Nestled in the mangrove islands of southwest Florida's coast, Marco Island is indeed a world-class resort destination surrounded by miles and miles of pristine, uninhabited islands, bays, creeks, and the Gulf of Mexico. To the north is the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and its Briggs Memorial Nature Center. To the south lies the sprawling 10,000 Islands with over 70 coastal miles of fly fishing heaven, inhabited only by the tiny fishing villages of Goodland, Everglades City, Chokoloskee and eventually Flamingo. Included in this southerly stretch is Collier-Seminole State Park, the 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge, Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve, Big Cypress National Preserve and the 5000 square mile Everglades National Park, ensuring continued protection against coastal development.
We have been coming to Marco Island every summer for close to 20 years. A few years ago we decided to invest in a summer vacation place for our family (seeing that we have been coming every year for as long as we can remember). After looking at numerous properties on the Island we found our summer getaway home at The Gulfview Club. We rennovated and remodeled our unit to our tastes and furnished it with brand new pieces.

We chose our unit at The Gulfview Club for numerous reasons...primarily it is right on the white sandy beaches of Marco Island. The building has been completely updated - - the pool, the social room, the common areas, and currently they are giving the building a fresh coat of paint!
While staying at our unit we enjoy, shelling, kayaking, swimming in the heated pool, beautiful sunsets from our priivate balcony, long walks on the beach, and dining at the fine restaurants located on the island.
We were lucky to find this wonderful unit. The view was spectacular - on the beach; watched the sun set every night. Our friends were very impressed; and so were we. The unit is very clean and tidy - well done. The location was great too - walking distance to stores and restaurants. I hope the next renters enjoy it as much as we did.
The unit was nicely decorated and the owner was very easy to visit with and responsive to our needs/wants.
The kitchen equipment and arrangement plus the absence of a garbage disposal were a drawback.
We would definitely entertain a future rental of this property.
Our experience would have been excellent if it were not for the spare bedroom. Don't plan on having any overnight guests because the bed arrangements consist of a daybed with a pull out which is on the floor under the daybed. Besides being dangerous to use the pull out was full of dust and dirt.
The building personnel and other guest and owners are wonderful. The pool is great and you just walkout to the beach from your condo. Great place to stay.
p.s. the owner rented the condo for next season without asking us if we would want it again. Just a common courtesy.
I took a long time to find what I thought would be the perfect condo and location for our first time stay on Marco. The condo was exactly as pictured but had even better views that anticipated. Located on the 15th floor you have a great view of the ocean with sunset views and looking out from the other side a great view of the island. It was the best of both worlds. We were very comfortable and hated to leave! The owner is very pleasant to work with and we would definitely go back again! Deborah S.
I enjoyed my stay in this unit. This unit has been nicely remodeled and is clean. The view is beautiful. It is very convenient to stay in a building directly on the beach that is centrally located on the island. The owners are pleasant, attentive and helpful.
