South Lake Tahoe Restrictions:
- Area rangers strictly enforce all Vacation Rental ordinances (parking, noise violations, camping, etc). If a citation is received, the guest will be responsible for paying both guest and owner citations, up to $2,000
- To avoid citations, follow all community rules as outlined in the Welcome Book and observe quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am
- Please note: you must only park in designated spaces (garage, paved driveway, carport or parking lot). Vehicles are not allowed to park on the street
- Camping on the property is strictly prohibited

Average at best - BEDS NEED TO BE REPLACED
Pros: Property was clean, home was prepared for our arrival. Accurate regarding location and layout.
Cons: 3 of the 4 beds were VERY uncomfortable. The king mattress in the master was "concave". Both of us rolled toward the center of the bed, due to the center being many inches lower than the sides of the mattress. (The mattress needs to be replaced.) Our guests in the third bedroom, expressed that they could feel the springs of the mattress as they slept. The trundle cannot be pulled out completely without blocking egress to the door...path to exit the room...which is a fire hazard!) One guest opted to sleep on the couch after the first night.) Must disagree with the description of the quality bedding, the master bed had sheets and a comforter, with no blanket....it was winter. It is NOT clear, to sleep 8, two guests must sleep on futons. We didn't have 8 guests, but we searched for the additional bed, wondering how the description says it sleeps 8? We found two 4 inch futons in the master closet. No remote to control the "remote controlled" garage door. It was inconvenient to use the front door to access the garage. We had to replace batteries in the DVR remote. The cooktop in the kitchen has a nice feature, however, while we were playing a family game, that feature (venting system) began going up and down, as if it was possessed! We laughed, unplugged the wayward unit (so it would stop) and called the maintenance number provided. The gentleman arrived a short while later, and advised to leave the unit unplugged. We plugged in prior to departing, and the unit worked fine. The heater was very loud and did not heat the home evenly. At night, some of us were too warm, while others were chilly. It is evident that this rental is part of a business enterprise. Sadly, for the price point paid, we do not recommend.

South Take Tahoe 3BR A Frame
My oldest son and I traveled to Lake Tahoe this past July for the first time. We went
to celebrate my 60th birthday and rented a place in South Lake Tahoe from VRBO. The picture that was shown made it look like it was out in the middle of the woods when there were houses extremely close by.
You entered into a foyer area. To the right was two bedrooms, a bathroom, stairs leading up to the master bedroom and bathroom and a door leading to the two car garage. To the left of the entryway was the living room, dining room and kitchen. Next to the downstairs bathroom was a washer and dryer.
Likes - Having a garage was very nice.
Having a washer and dryer was great.
The kitchen was extraordinary and extremely well stocked with supplies. There was
only one item we could not find, but at this point I'm not sure what it was, possibly a
spatula, however, I'm not positive and neither is my son.
The house was very clean except for dust on the windowsills in the bedrooms and
Dislikes - It was much closer to other homes than expected from the photograph, and the light from the next house shone in my bedroom window at night making it hard to sleep.
The house was warm and there was no air conditioning. (I knew about there being
no air conditioning when I signed. They were very clear about this fact.) There
were overhead fans in the bedrooms and living room, but at night the fan in the
upstairs bedroom did not do the trick.
The garage door button was finicky.
* What I disliked the most was that on our second night there I saw a large mouse
upstairs. I moved all my belongings to one of the down stairs bedrooms which
was a shame because the upstairs master bedroom was very nice. In the morning
I did call VRBO and let them know that we were sharing the house with a mouse.
With the exception of the mouse we thought that everything was terrific, and if they can fix the mouse problem I would recommend this place to others. My son and I agree, we would give this place 4 1/2 stars.

Quite a few homes in the Tahoe area dealt with some uninvited guests after unfavorable weather, including flooding, occurred this summer. The homeowner has worked with two exterminators and installed electronic sound deterrents to ensure that future guests don't share your experience. Cozy house in the woods
This is a nice house, great kitchen to cook in and outdoor patio to eat meals. There was an issue at the house but the owner addressed it immediately. The neighborhood was quite and views from the patio were impressive. Things I didn't realize was there is no air conditioning which would have been appreciated. The upstairs bedroom was very comfortable. The downstairs beds were not as comfortable. The layout of the house is great and it was very clean.
Below Average but has potential
Owner uses professional service to manage the property which is nice, but had multiple problems during stay. The owner was responsive and tried/was proactive about the situation, which is all we could ask. I understand it isn't what an owner wants to deal with, but it isn't what a guest wants to deal with either and she was generous in remedying the situation. Previous guests had a party and threw up in the kitchen and it wasn't cleaned well enough leaving a very rancid smell throughout the kitchen/living room. We just did our best to stay out of the kitchen during our stay and the owner compensated for the smell which worked for us since we didn't have other options. Overall, I can see the house being very nice, but it needs some quick help to get back to previous standards. Sink faucet handles fell off (simple fix) and no AC which isn't an issue other than needing to circulate air during a very hot weekend with the smell. We enjoyed the patio/deck and location which was near the lake/casinos.

Beautiful and relaxing
It was the perfect stay for me and my closes friends. Very relaxing, kitchen was just perfect, bedrooms had comfortable beds.
Place seemed ok, a bit high for what you get. Fireplace didn't work as an example. Biggest issue was that they fraudulently charged us. They claimed we checked in early but had no proof or knowledge of the situation. We did not in early or inconvenience anyone. I asked what if it was cold out and we were 15 minutes early and she got defensive and hung up on me. Definitely not how you do business or how you treat customers. Very rude! Not worth the stay. We go to Tahoe a few times a year and there are so many better places who aren't disrespectful.
