Why John Virkler chose Asheville Area

We bought property in Asheville, because the mountains are beautiful and relaxing. It has quite a variety of great restaurants for a small city, lots of golf courses and a lot of adventure for our teenagers.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We had a great time! The cabin is comfortable, furnished well, and comes equipped with everything to make your stay as modern or as rustic as you want.

Quiet, rustic, charming

  • 5 of 5

Driving up to, then walking into the cabin, our first impression was "this is perfect!" We were looking for a quiet secluded getaway for our anniversary and that is what we got. This is a true log cabin with exposed beams, wood everywhere, a beautiful big stone fireplace and cute comfortable rocking chairs. It had just enough space for the two of us and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved it. Highly recommend.

Perfect Relaxing Stay for our Anniversary!

  • 5 of 5

My husband had no idea what place I had booked for our one year anniversary. He was WOW-ed! This little cabin is adorable and the perfect place to connect and enjoy your significant other. It is quiet, private and clean. We enjoyed our dinners on the patio looking into the trees with a fire going and our evenings in the hot tub, drinking wine and chatting. The cabin is super clean and the beds were fairly comfy - my husband stole the remote and made the sleep number too soft for my liking, but that's just user error. The cabin was fully equip with all of the cooking tools we required and the fridge was plenty big enough for our 3 day stay. I just loved it so much! We look forward to staying at this cabin again and trying the larger cabins with friends and family!

Country Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Country Cabin! The cabin was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay! The property was beautiful and we enjoyed going on a hike while there. The trails were not entirely maintained but we still found our way around and enjoyed our walk. The cabin was at the end of the road, which we appreciated. The hot tub also felt secluded. I think the only thing that we would have changed was we would have liked having a full bed without the top bunk over us. However, we were aware of the bed situation before we came and there was the option of a fold out couch. Our reservation making, check in and check out all went perfectly. We would happily come back and would definitely recommend the cabin to others!
