Overview

About the property

Studio, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2-3

Driving up the long winding driveway through the woods you will feel a sense of tranquility and connection with the past.

Rustic 120 year old one room cabin with private covered porch, updated with modern amenities. Private Country Retreat on Swan Mountain yet only 15 minutes to downtown Asheville. Uber to enjoy the amazing craft breweries and restaurants.

There are hiking trails and the Lodge is nearby, but this cabin is private enough that after dusk you can slip into the hot tub with or without appropriate attire.

The cabin has a bunk with a full size sleep number bed on the bottom and an extra long twin on the top. The sofa is a Lazy Boy with pull out queen Slumber Comfort air mattress system. When we stay at the cabin we sleep on the queen pull-out and use the memory foam pad from the full size bed for extra comfort.

Hiking trails on property and free firewood.

We have five rentals available on this property and it is an ideal location to have reunions and get together with every one staying on property. We do not allow parties or events of any kind with people coming off property.

*We are in a cove where noise travels and to be good neighbors we cannot allow loud music or excessive noise.

*We have limited parking and cannot allow parking on yards where septic tanks and fields could get damaged.

The property supervisor lives on site and is responsible to make sure guests adhere to policies and is available to correct any issues.

The cabin was nice and clean, very cozy. We had a wonderful weekend. The hot tub was great and it was very quiet.

Lovely cabin close to Asheville

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the cabin and hot tub, especially after a 12 mile hike in Tennessee. Many thanks for your hospitality!

Well maintained cabin with a comfortable rustic feel on a private and serene property

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is very well taken care of and has all the amenities you want in a house plus hot tub is a huge bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Little Country Cabin

  • 2 of 5

While all of the amenities were good quality and exactly as described- the pics are misleading in terms of overall size of the cabin itself. For us, the bed was too small and cramped and we didn't want to sleep on the pull out sofa-blow up mattress. With a sizable pet fee and other cleaning fees and service fees... a dog should be allowed on the one piece of furniture (leather couch) in the one room of this teeny tiny dark - smoke smelling cabin. Overall 2 1/2 stars...next time ....won't be a next time.

Perfect location & charming!

  • 5 of 5

The country cabin is just perfect! The location is remote enough but you are still close to downtown Asheville. It is ideal for a couple but could very comfortably accommodate 3 people. We are already planning to stay here again! If you are looking for great, moderate hiking trails, check out DuPont State Forest. We were able to view 3 waterfalls here in just a 6 mile round trip hike. It took us just over 45 mins to reach DuPont from the Country Cabin.

Cozy, quiet Asheville cabin

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here. The owner has done some amazing things on detail to make this experience just the right balance between comfort and simplicity. This cabin offers stress release in it's environment. While you aren't far from Asheville, to step out the front door can make you feel miles away from city life.

Would stay here again!

Relaxing and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

We had a family of 3 and we loved the country cabin. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean upon arrival and no issues. We loved the hiking trail on property. Very close to the Biltmore! Close to downtown Asheville as well. Spent our evenings by the fire pit. Highly recommend
