Chalet style, authenic log cabin. Do you want to just see the mountains from a distance? Wouldn't you rather stay in the mountains with the mountains all around you. Our cabin sits on an .82 acre wooded lot in the mountains and has no next door neighbors. All you see around you are beautiful views of the Great Smokey Mountain area. Sixteen hundred square feet, one and a half story with great rooom, large full kitchen with island, master bedroom with king size bed, two full baths one with whirlpool tub. All hardwood floors except tile in kitchen and vinyl in downstairs bath. Our cabin is not cluttered with our 'stuff'. We want you to have plenty of room to make this cabin 'your home' during your stay. However, all the kitchen essentials you need are waiting for you, just bring your clothes, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and food. From within the cabin, eleven front windows tower two stories to reveal mounds of beautiful mountains and two wrap around decks outside are open to some of the most beautiful mountain views in the Great Smokies area. View the beautiful mountains from your rocking chair on the back deck and grill out on the gas grill. Or, watch Satalite TV in the great room by the fireplace. You may prefer watching TV from the king size bed in the master bedroom. The leather sofa in the loft converts to a queen size bed. Play a game of pool or sit and watch a game from the sofa or the cafe style tall table and two stools in the loft. We are Doyle and Nina and we are in our mid 60's and recently purchased this vacation home. We are semi-retired and love the outdoors and the beautiful view of the mountains. We want you to enjoy this vacation home as much as we do.
Nina purchased this cabin in 2010
We chose this location because we have always loved the Great Smoky Mountains; and, we live close by and can manage our vacation home ourselves. We love the opportunities for shopping and entertainment as well as the natural beauty of the area. The four seasons offer a change in scenery throughout the year - from the first flower blooms in the spring - to the full greenery in the summer - to the beautiful colorful leaves in the fall and the white mounds of snow in the winter. This is a beautiful place to enjoy God's creation.
The best benefit to staying at the cabin is the peace and quiet, the singing of the birds, the beautiful sunrise, no traffic and the wonder of the view of God's beautiful creation. And yet, we are only 20-30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg if we wish to go. I call it paradise.
My husband and I rented this cabin for a week. We were in love with it from the beginning. The view is amazing and I keep looking at my pictures to take me back there. I recommend this to anyone and will definitely try to go back again!!
I'll start off by saying that my wife and I have had some terrible experiences with cross country rentals not being even close to how it was described or photographed. This was NOT the case with Nina and Doyle's cabin! The first thing my wife said after we walked through was how it was EXACTLY as described. Great place with amazing views and a fantastic setup for turn-key fun! Nina was so helpful giving us great directions coming to and from the cabin (GPS can be unpredictable in the mountains) as well as guides for local attractions and grocery store suggestions. The place was spotless and well stocked for use. I accidentally set off the alarm at 6 AM one morning ( sorry Nina!) and she was polite and attentive to be sure everything was ok! Couldn't recommend staying anywhere but this cabin. It was in a great private location but still close to all the attractions. If you're thinking about staying in the Smokies, look no further than Majestic Views!
This home is absolutely everything advertised and more. If we hadn't chosen this home, our trip would never have been as wonderful as it was. We loved the home, it's coziness, and the spectacular views! Can't say enough good things about it! Loved , loved, loved it!
This cabin is in the perfect spot. You are close enough to shopping and tourist things to do in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and other area towns. You are close to entrances of the Smokey National Park. However, the cabin gave us the greatest joy. It was clean, comfortable, and absolutely beautiful! The views cannot be explained. It is everything advertised and more!
This cabin was perfect for my wife and I. Not very far from the National Park or other neighboring towns. The morning views of the sunrise were amazing. Overall the cabin was extremely clean and had everything we could possibly need. I would stay here again in a heart beat and already have several friends asking about it. Definitely a place to recommend. The owners were super nice and very helpful with all aspects of the trip.
The cabin sits on the side of a mountain with breathtaking views. It is clean, nicely furnished, and solid wood which gives it an authentic cabin in the woods feel. The location is convenient to enter the Smokey Mountains National Park through a back road which allows one to avoid the traffic in Pigeon Forge. It is also reasonably close to the Townsend park entrance if you want to go to Cade's Cove. Our family enjoyed a brief snowfall the first day which produced gorgeous snow covered mountains. It warmed up and we were able to go for 3 day hikes in different parts of the park. The cabin felt like home every evening when we returned and we thoroughly enjoyed the clean hot tub to soothe our tired muscles after long hikes. Sitting in the hot tub you can look out at the mountains. Last but not least the owners, Nina and Doyle go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy the cabin and surrounding area. They offer their cell phone if you have questions and even went out of their way to mail our battery charger back to us after we forgot it. We highly recommend this cabin.
