Amelia Island provides miles of beautiful beaches, biking/walking/running trails, horseback riding, fishing, surfing, turtle and bird watching. World class golf, tennis, sailing, deep sea fishing or kayaking on the many miles of marsh are just some of the fun filled opportunities.
Tour Downtown Fernandina’s Historic District with walking tours of the beautiful Victorian homes or visit the Amelia Island Museum of History. Fascinating ghost tours are available!
See Fort Clinch State park with a day-trip to Cumberland Island National Seashore (advance reservation required); or visit the many shops and browse for antiques, unique Chinese pottery or local art in downtown Fernandina Beach.
Local restaurants run the gamut between authentic Italian, Asian Fusion or some of the South’s best fried shrimp and grouper. You’ll enjoy sampling the varied ways that Amelia Island's ocean-fresh shrimp and fish are prepared and served.
The condo was just what we were looking for. We needed a handicap accessible place for my husband's wheelchair and this worked out great. The home was clean and well stocked. We loved the decor! The owner was thorough with all pertinent information such as directions and wonderful local restaurants! We were able to see gohper tortoises from the sliders and found shark teeth on the beach. Amelia Island is a treasure that offers a bit of history with forts and the oldest saloon in Florida. Lunch at the Salty Pelican was great! We rode horses on the beach.... Yes this was a great break from reality!
Our stay in this condo was a fabulous experience and allowed us all to feel at home. The condo was clean and cozy with very tasteful decor. We had plenty of room even with 4 adults and 1 child in our party. The full kitchen was very convenient for preparing our meals and offered plenty of space in the pantry and refrigerator for our food items. We really enjoyed being on the first floor as it was very easy to get to the pool and beach. In addition, the first floor allowed us really good views of the turtles in the dunes, which my son really enjoyed. I highly recommend this condo for a nice, peaceful getaway! The owner (Carolyn) was so helpful with all the questions that I asked her. We definitely plan to come back to Amelia Island and stay here.
We had the most amazing getaway at Amelia Island. This condo was easy to find, clean and comfortable, and very relaxing.
The view from the master bedroom is one of the most picturesque I have ever seen. It is the same view you see from the sitting area in the back, which was very comfortable, you could watch the tortoises in the dunes, and also wonderful for a 14 month old to crawl around in the grassy area right off the patio.
The condo was clean and comfortable. It had a very well stocked kitchen for cooking and we enjoyed making breakfast at the condo every morning.
The condo is a very quick walk to the beach and while there were a lot of people on the beach, it didn't seem crowded at all! We were able to head out around 10-11 am every morning and there was still plenty of beach space.
Carolyn was a joy to work with and was available when we needed (like when we thought the internet was down :)
The condo has a washer and dryer that is wonderful to throw clothes into for a wash after a day at the beach.
We had a wonderful time and I have already recommended this condo to friends.
Enjoyed everything about the condo. Beautifully decorated and comfortable condo and conveniently located to beach and pool with lots of extras including beach toys, spices, well stocked kitchen, pack and play etc. Property very well maintained and the owner Carolyn was such a pleasure to work with and very cooperative. Also gave great recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. Especially enjoyed the sitting area out back with comfortable seating and a great place for our 2 and 4 year old grandchildren to run off some energy. Our grandson loves turtles and there was one that would venture out and visit each afternoon which he absolutely loved. Would definitely recommend to relatives and friends.
As a family of four, we were very comfortable in this condo. It's situated on the first floor so getting to the beach was a breeze not having to lug items on an elevator. Having access to a storage room with beach chairs, an umbrella and boogie boards next door was definitely a big plus. More spacious than I expected and included king sized comfortable beds, clean kitchen, and overall very nicely decorated. Has everything you need for a really nice beach vacation spot. Restaurants in Fernandina Beach were only a 20 minute drive - fantastic food!
We had a wonderful time. The condo has everything you could ever want for a beach vacation and right next door to The Ritz Carlton too!
You will have customers for life with me and my family.
Thanks so much!
