Great location and amenities

We stayed at this property from 4/8-4/25/17 with our two teenagers.

The condo is large and updated, with a great rooftop deck. Beach supplies and chairs are provided. The location is perfect - easy biking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. As much as we enjoyed exploring Sanibel, we spent most of our days at the property, enjoying the beach.

We really appreciated the keyless lock system, and the wi-fi worked well (key when traveling with teens).

I would recommend this property and would love to stay there again.

Perfect family Vacation Condo - Great location in the complex and on the island!

Evan's Pointe Santo Condo was everything we hoped for from the descriptions and more. The unit was beautifully decorated with ample seating for my husband and visiting daughters and their families. It was very clean and nicely located at the top of the stairs or a short walk from the elevator which was situated right by the reserved parking place. Very handy for luggage and groceries.

We were there for two weeks and could of stayed longer. The unit has incredible views across the lagoon to the beachfront from the deck top, lanai, master bedroom living room space and even the kitchen area. Because it is an end unit you can watch the sunset over the tree tops from the dining room table and third bedroom as well as get great cross breezes when everything is opened up. We used the decktop daily while little ones napped or just to be outside. It was a 3 minute walk on the beautiful lagoon side sidewalk to the beach or pool.

The condo had what we needed to prepare meals as far as utensils glassware and dishware.

The amount of empty storage space and closets allowed us to move in and have an uncluttered organized space often a problem in other VRBO units we have stayed in.

Evans and his manager Charlotte replied quickly to the questions we had upon arrival and were very helpful.

We often stop at Publix off island on our way to our rental units without knowing what will be provided so here are some tips to help others who may do the same and want to know what we found available in this unit.

Ample empty pantry storage in the kitchen area for food for our two week stay. The refrigerator/freezer is very small so do not stock up on cold items, we just traveled the 4 minutes to Baileys grocery store to replenish. This is not a problem from this location since you do not have to fight the traffic on Periwinkle which is a great improvement from other locations on island.

The unit supplies some paper products to get you started and some dish soap and laundry soap as well and 4 beach towels. Each bathroom had a hairdryer and hotel size soaps and shampoo.

The pantry is empty of spices and any food products which is good to know before coming if you plan to cook.

There was a pack n play in a bedroom closet, a basket of every beach toy you could need. One beach umbrella and stake, two boogie boards, several shelling nets, three beach chairs, two pool noodles.

Loved that we could watch the sunrise and sunset on the beach & use the shelling station by the pool too!

It's the Little Things...

We just returned from a weekly rental February 11-18 2017. We had stayed in other units at Pointe Santo, but never in the C Building. We were VERY pleasantly surprised, the unit faces the Gulf squarely but is set back far enough to give the view some context with palms, the lagoon, clubhouse, etc., and was very quiet. The unit itself was intelligently designed, well appointed and very clean. There were only two of us, and we used the master bedroom, but the two spare bedrooms gave us places to store our clothes separate from the other living areas.

But the little things made this a five-star stay: plenty of towels and TP; dishwasher and laundry tabs and trash bags provided; excellent beach chairs and implements available; a desk for the few times work got in the way of vacationing; a keyless door entry (you can't appreciate how good this is until you are there); fast and reliable wifi; comfortable furniture; a kitchen stocked with dishes, etc., for those, like us, who like to buy fresh fish and cook most of our dinners.

The unit is a penthouse, end unit. The end unit means a few extra windows allowing plenty of natural light in. The penthouse means a rooftop deck accessible by a spiral staircase on the lanai. The ONLY negative was that during one windy day/night, the heavy plastic cover shielding the entry to the rooftop flapped in the wind and made quite the noise. Not a big deal once we discovered what it was and we simply closed the door from the master bedroom to the lanai. Otherwise, we didn't use the rooftop at all, but it was well equipped and appointed for those that would.

The attention to the details took this from a good to a great stay, there were simply a number of niggling details that we didn't have to waste any worry on. We would not hesitate to recommend this owner or unit and hope to come back for another stay very soon.

Excellent end unit at a first-class resort

The unit is well maintained and offers great views. We didn't use the roof-top deck, but for those who will it's lovely and nicely outfitted with chairs and tables. Very quiet spot, ideal for those who want to relax, shell, and enjoy nature.
