This is an exceptional house with quality finishes throughout. It has lots of historic touches, featuring a covered porch, two decks - one off the master bedroom, river and bridge views, sun porch, tile and granite.
The house is located just blocks from the Goonie House and the Kindergarten Cop school and just two houses away from the Free Willy house.
Walk the Astoria Riverwalk to the East Mooring Basin to see the sea lions play while ships pass by on the Columbia River. Or take the trolley along the river and enjoy the sights and hear a historical account of the area from the trolley conductor.
Visit the nationally acclaimed Columbia Maritime Museum, Ft. Clatsop, Ft. Stevens, and the Pacific Ocean. A must-see is the Astor Column with a 360-degree view of the river, city, and mountains below.
Astoria has many restaurants serving fresh fish, microbreweries, and antique shops for your dining and shopping pleasure.

This house was a disaster when we purchased it! We completely remodeled it and have put a tremendous amount of work into it to make it the beautiful place that it is today.
The Owner purchased this cottage in 2005
My son lives in Astoria and he is the remodel expert!
I love the views from the deck. I love hearing the sea lions bark. Astoria is such a quaint town. And I always get out to the ocean on my visits there.
We so enjoyed our stay in Astoria in June. The home was very well cared for, the views were fabulous and we enjoyed the quaintness of it. We will definitely recommend this home to our friends and family. Astoria is a wonderful place to vacation, so many wonderful things to do and the weather was PERFECT!!!
I had the joy of being able to stay here for two months, from Aug. 1 to Sept. 30, 2012. The house is cute, cozy and very clean. The pictures do not do the interior justice. I believe they were taken before the home was furnished. It is comfortably furnished. Both beds were comfortable. I slept one night downstairs but chose the upstairs bedroom for the rest of my stay. The view from the upstairs window and deck was fantastic, both day and night. I had wonderful views of the bridge and the river. The Safeway and a Trolley stop are within walking distance. The neighbors are friendly and I got adopted by the cat from next door, even though I never fed it. It loved being petted. I enjoyed reading on the front porch or on the upper deck. The owner's son lives nearby if anything goes amiss. I have some friends who live in various parts of Oregon who came to visit and they loved the house. My sister came from Arizona and she loved the house and fell in love with Astoria. There were so many things to do in Astoria that I missed many of them because they were happening at the same times. Be sure to visit the Sunday Market, the Flavell House, the Maritime Museum, the Trolley (more than once), the Heritage Museum and just wander downtown and some of the residential streets if you can. I cannot imagine spending only one week in Astoria. I really hated leaving. I still miss the great views and listening to the sea lions.
We rented this home Sept. 29, 2011-Oct.2. We had a wonderful time there! The home was very clean and comfortable. It is located in a nice neighbor, within walking distance of Safeway and the Trolley. Our two teen age sons loved the play station; kept them well entertained. When we go on vacation again, we will definitely stay at this home!
My wife and I visited Portland to see friends and decided to rent this property for Easter weekend to get away to the coast. The owners were more than accommodating and never once during the process was there a question they didn't answer promptly or make us feel like we were an important addition to their home for the weekend.
The home is settled in a very nice neighborhood with lots to do and many picturesque sights from all locations of the house. The four of us stayed three nights and it really felt like our little home. We made great use of the wonderful kitchen area, oversized deck and grill and took in the sights around town (including visiting the Goonies house and Astoria movie museum right down the road).
After our arrival, the owners checked in with us immediately to make sure everything went well and refunded our deposit a short time later. With all we saw in our 10 days in Oregon, this location was the highlight of our trip.
This is an exquisite house... full of charm, warmth, and everything you need to enjoy your stay in Astoria. We loved being able to walk to the market to get groceries. The views are marvelous. We hiked to the Astoria Column without having to get in our car!
