Super Spacious 4-Star Rental with 3 Flatscreens, Foosball, Washer/Dryer, King Beds!
This is a beautiful and spacious vacation rental complete with foosball! This rental is right at the entrance of Snowcreek providing an easy walk to catch the shuttle up to Mammoth Mountain. This 2-bedroom and a loft unit with 2 bathrooms and a 4 star rating has a full kitchen, microwave, fireplace, 3 flat screen TVs (in the living room and both bedrooms), DVD player, high-speed wireless internet access, stereo with a cd player, washer/dryer, iron and an ironing board and a phone. It also has a partial view of Mammoth Rock. Both bedrooms feature king size beds and the loft has bunkbeds where the bottom is a double size bed and the top is a single. The loft also has a daybed which can be used as two single beds when the bottom bed is pulled out. There are 3 stairs to reach this unit and it has 3 levels inside. The entry level has both bedrooms and both bathrooms. Upstairs is the living room, kitchen, dining area and balcony. The loft is on the 3rd level. This unit sleeps up to 9 people. Although guests are not permitted to bring pets, the owners of this unit do bring their pets up frequently. Unit managed under Mammoth Lakes Business Tax Certificate 864.

Not in good shape. Need to fix a few things.
Before I talk about the issues we had, I do want to say a few positives about our stay.
The place is good size for 8 people (4 adults, 4 kids). The kids love the loft space. The dining table is huge, so great to sit around and have breakfast/dinner. In terms of bedrooms, the beds are large and comfortable, with soft sheets and pillows. Now on to the issues we had...
The place is just not ready for prime time...
1) the upstairs loft has a ceiling light and fan, but either it doesn’t work, or we couldn’t turn it on. We called the office and followed a convoluted process in turning on the lights, and it didn’t work. There were no instructions left at the condo either. Because of that, the loft space was pretty much useless at night and hot as heck, since all the heat from the house gets trapped up there.
2) There was a huge wet spot on the carpet outside of the kitchen when we checked in. We mentioned it to management but no one came to check it out and investigate the issue. Well, turns out it was probably the new dishwasher, since a day later, after running the dishwasher, the wet spot got bigger, and worst of all, the ceiling of the room underneath the kitchen started leaking in the middle of the night. Imagine trying to sleep with the constant dripping noise. I’m just thankful that the leak wasn’t directly over our bed.
3) minor issue, but the shower knob wasn’t installed correctly. Turn to hot, cold water comes out. Turn to cold, piping hot water comes out.
Overall, the place just wasn’t ready to be rented out with all the issues. We notified the management company of the issues but no one ever came to fix or investigate. We asked for a discount in light of our experience, and haven’t heard back at all. I’m guessing we won’t hear anything.
I don’t think i’ll stay at another condo owned/managed by this management company again.
