It was ok. Cozy and warm after the 2 wall heaters kicked in.
My stay was definitely ok. Nice complex, quiet and a bit from town center. Things that would have improved it include better lighting, extra dry firewood and a space filler for between bed and wall when Murphy is pulled down. Also the floors stayed cold even when rooms were warm, so area rugs would be helpful. The wall heaters took a couple of hours to warm the studio, then ran almost constantly even when set to low. On good side I felt secure, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked.
My first impression was how small it was and a bit crowded. The carpet has a big stain on it so my first impression was that the place was dirty, turns out it wasn't. The blankets were kind of weird, but they were clean. I'd never slept on a murphy bed before and it was surprisingly comfortable though I did bring and use my own mattress cover to make the bed softer. Overall it suited our needs quite well and we enjoyed the stay.
Thank you so much for your feedback and business! The homeowners just replaced all of the carpet with laminate flooring so the stain won't be an issue in the future. Thank you again and we hope to see you in Mammoth next time!
Cozy, comfortable, and convenient
The flat was great for our first trip to Mammoth. There was ample parking, the flat was easy to get to and find, and it was near a stop of public transportation. The management kept it mostly stocked with everything you need for a stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, plates, glasses, and such. There was no hand soap when we arrived. Though there was wood for the fireplace, there was not kindling-sized wood that would have helped us get a fire started. Those were the only two wrinkles in an otherwise smooth experience during our stay.
