Find peace and tranquility at Residence du Cap, an elegant two story villa perched high in the hills of the private Cap Estate: a 1,500 acre property on the grounds of an old sugar plantation. See the best of St. Lucia without leaving your terrace, with views across Pigeon Island to the Caribbean Sea. On a clear day the neighboring island of Martinique is visible on the horizon, as are the famous Pitons mountains.
Between the main villa and the two storey guest cottage, a beautiful tiled terrace attracts sun all day. Spend afternoons reclined in cushioned sunloungers that surround the diamond-shaped pool. When its time to cool off, a sleek, columned veranda wraps its way around the main house providing plenty of cozy seating options. As the sun begins to set, head towards the balustered railing with a cocktail and watch boats twinkle along the darkening horizon.
Inside, a lively color palette of green and fuchsia, plus light streaming in through French doors and windows create a breezy tropical feel. The villas main room is laid out along an open concept plan, allowing guests to enjoy each others presence whether lounging in the living area or preparing a memorable meal in the fully-equipped, modern kitchen. Off the kitchen is a beautiful wooden dining table that seats eight people.
Three of Residence du Caps bedrooms are on the upper floor of the main house. Each bright rooms contains an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning and is individually styled with designer linens and furnishings. The final bedroom is found in the self-contained guest cottage, with its own deck, living room and kitchen.
Residence du Cap is only minutes from St. Lucias best 18 holes of golf, as well as numerous sandy beaches, all found within Cap Estate. Rodney Bay, the islands social centre, is only 4 miles away. From its marina you can rent a sailboat or organize excursions to Pitons and Sulphur Springs. The town of Gros Islet is where youll find upscale shopping, fine dining and nightlife.

Lovely location, fabulous view, perfect villa for our party of 8.
We absolutely loved Residence Du Cap and Luciana who made the villa feel like home away from home. The house was beautifully appointed, not always updated, but very clean and tidy. Each bedroom had a very nice ensuite bathroom and plenty of privacy. The common area, kitchen and outdoor dining was perfect for a large group. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, gorgeous view and cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Having a cooked breakfast prepared every morning was something we really looked forward to- thanks again to Lucy the chef/housekeeper. Lucy always kept the villa clean and tidy while we were relaxing, we hardly noticed she had been around to change our beds and clean up. Overall amazing experience in St. Lucia - the villa, culture, beaches and diving were incredible- thank you so much!!
The villa was a fabulous place to spend a week. We were very grateful to Luciana, the house-keeper-cook extraordinaire. The villa was absolutely beautiful perched on the hill overlooking the beautiful waters of St. Lucia, and we felt completely comfortable having our three-year-old with us. We would return in a heart beat!
We very much enjoyed ours stay and Lousiana the house keeper was lovely. I do think this house is not to well set up for a larger group. We were 8 so we could only have dinner indoors in a small dinning nuck without fans and no key for the door to get breeze. There is also not enough comfortable seating for a larger group. Also the extremely slippery floor around the pool makes it dangerous. We really enjoyed our time so but it is good to know for future renters and most importantly this house is not child friendly. Slippery tiles by the pool, large gaps between banisters to a 4-5m drop onto stone along the pool and no way of locking of the pool area without closing all doors to the house which would make it extremely hot. Also the window blinds in the bedrooms all have long threads hanging down and no child looks on balcony doors.
