|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
I HAVE A ONE WEEK MINIMUM.
Beautiful sun-drenched modern nicely-appointed one-bedroom private apartment. Stylish kitchen and open living area, large comfortable bedroom. Top floor unit gets a lot of daytime light, filtered through tree-tops. Quiet tree-lined street in historic and hot South End neighborhood of Boston. Close to dozens of great restaurants, the new Huntington theaters, and all the great culture and entertainment that Boston has to offer. Near T and buses. About 630 square fee.
NOTE: entry is on the 3rd floor (in the US the ground floor is the first floor) of a brownstone so this means two flights up to the apartment, and and once in the apartment there is one flight up to the living space). All-in there are 3 flights of stairs. Also, there is no laundry, there is a laundromat nearby where you can do it yourself or do the wash and fold service.
I do not list my phone number to limit sales calls to me. Email me and i will be happy to provide it.
I lived in Boston for 15 years before moving to NYC four years ago. I have experience with property management, and want your stay to be great. I appreciate all feedback!
David Brown purchased this apartment in 2005
Great location and perfect accommodation for a couple who likes to walk throughout the city. David was terrific and very responsive to our needs. We shall return!
My husband and I stayed at David's South Boston apartment for a month and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was exactly as described in the listing, and perhaps even more spacious that I expected. David was very responsive to inquiries and was happy to answer all my questions. He made the check-in / check-out process stress free. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and was well-equipped with anything you would need, from kitchen supplies to extra sheets and towels. We both telecommuted while there, and there was room for both of us to spread out. The wifi was very reliable. The neighbors were quite. The location is great. The apartment is near to many great restaurants, public transportation, markets, and parks. David provides a nice guide to local places when you book, and his recommendations were great. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family, and hope to stay there again myself.
The house is gorgeous. The neighborhood is very nice, very close to the center and very well connected to get around the city (with the bus number one o will soon arrive Campús MIT and Harvard).
David is fantastic and accessible.

Our Host David was very attentive to our stay and went to considerable lengths to be sure we were happy. Thank you David for your courtesy and prompt reply to our messages.
The apartment is decently appointed but not lavish; if you are creative you can prepare meals as desired without going out to restaurants. A not-inexpensive grocery store is about a 12-minute walk. It is about the same distance to the "T" subway system, a shorter walk to buses. Take advantage of the public transportation, it is quite good and will get you close to wherever you would like to go.
I believe the apartment is listed as a third-story, but be advised you have to climb three sets of fairly steep and narrow spiral stairs (besides the short entrance steps) to get access to the apartment. By the looks of surrounding buildings this is not uncommon. The water pressure is good and the neighborhood quiet and pleasant. Several nice parks nearby. The apartment itself is quiet, we never heard any noise from occupants below except for normal coming and going out of doors once or twice a day. The WiFi and internet service was good, and we had no problem staying connected via either. We had no occasion to use the heating, as the weather was splendid during our stay and was never out of the 57-65 degree range outdoors.
Be advised many of the residential brick sidewalks are very uneven, and the one-way streets are often preferable for walking.
Be sure not to miss the Museum of Fine Arts, they have splendid exhibits and do not prohibit photographs as long as you don't use your flash. They allow a complimentary second visit with a paid entrance (within 10 days), and you won't be able to see everything in one day. The Museum of Science and Industry is not wildly modern, but very engaging and I recommend it. Be sure to eat Italian in North Boston at least once, and if you only visit once go to Benevento's. Not too expensive, and the food is fabulous.
I recommend this rental and we enjoyed our stay.
The apartment is roomy, comfortable, and perfectly located in the best area of Boston. The decoration is modern and stylish, and the street is absolutely enchanting. Transportation is easy to other parts of town and Cambridge. Excellent restaurants and other amenities are within walking distance. To be recommended in every way.
The hub of culture, entertainment, sports, business and education in the northeast. This beautiful apartment is at the heart of all of it.
