Our 10 night stay at this apartment was just perfect. We were able to meet both Mary and Steve, who are delightful hosts, and felt very confident that any needs we had during our stay would be met. The apartment is right by a creek that we were able to walk our small dogs by. The two decks were so comfortable for us and them. The closeness to town is something that means a lot to us. The large living area gave us plenty of space...the kitchen was well equipped. We have been vacationing in Highlands for many years, and have not every found the "place to come back to" until now. There is a little convenience store across the street that is so convenient to get ice, snacks, and food delivered from the in-town Mountain Grocery....fresh made. One block over (toward town) is a fabulous restaurant, Meritage. So good...we had dinner there twice, Sunday Brunch, and lunch. We will definitely plan our Highlands trip to when we are able to rent this cozy apartment.

We enjoying a short walk to town, plenty of parking, bed ok, not upscale but meet our needs for our wedding weekend
We enjoyed our stay on Laurel. Since we were in Highlands to get to know the town better to possibly consider buying a second home there, the proximity to shops/restaurants and even the farmer's market was very important to us. The apartment was well-equipped and comfy. It is truly walking distance to downtown Highlands. My husband also appreciated the ability to play tennis on the town courts right across the street.
My wife and I spent our anniversary here and it was more than expected! A quick five minute walk had us in the heart of downtown. Plenty of dining and entertainment options all around this home. The house itself had a VERY comfortable bed and was much bigger than expected! We had a great time here and will be staying again!
What a perfect apartment! We loved everything about this place - great location, comfortable bed, plenty of room, washer & dryer. I am so glad we stayed here! Our time in Highlands was so relaxing. We will most definitely be back, and this will be our first choice accommodation.
We would like to inform the owners there is a construction going on in front of the property that make the situation very busy with trucks and workers lots of noise from very early in the morning until 7:30 pm.
Please notify people of this unpleasant inconvenience!
