This is a beautiful two bedroom home. The master bedroom comes with a king-sized bed, plenty of closet space, and a TV. The second bedroom has a daybed with a full-sized pop-up trundle and small television. There are two bathrooms, the master having a Jacuzzi tub and a separate spacious shower. The back bedroom has a private half-bath for convenience. It is situated on the corner of Esplanade and Royal St., only two blocks from Frenchman, which is known for its' many restaurants and jazz clubs. You get the best of both worlds, the French Quarter and Frenchmen St. where the locals hang out. It is a quiet residential area , yet a few blocks away from the action and fun.

It is located on Esplanade Ave & Royal St in the French Quarter. Hardwood floors throughout, high ceilings, granite counter tops, stainless appliances, mahogany cabinets, Jacuzzi tub and party shower in bathroom.

Gorgeous chandelier's. Completely furnished including linens & utensils in kitchen. Prime location, walk to the Quarter and the Marigny for live entertainment daily / nightly.

Large front porch with swing overlooking the French Quarter. Close to many famous restaurants and all the activities the French quarter has to offer.

Our family purchased this house in Feb, of 2012 in the French Qtr, It is a free standing unit built around 1885 and has been renovated to the highest standards. We have a love of all properties with history in this area of New Orleans.

The house is free standing and not a condominium arrangement. This unit gives us the unique distinction of being in the center of all the activities (Mardi Gras, Jazz Festival, French Qtr Festival and Halloween activities) . We can walk to and enjoy any of the festivities in less than 10 minutes.

What makes this house unique

t is located 1 block from the famous Bourbon Street and on the corner of Royal Street. Where you can shop,dine,bar hop, enjoy all of the local musicians,jazz bands and all the the other attractions the French Quarter has to offer.

Great Time on Esplanade

My friend and I stayed at the Esplanade House 11/10/16-11/13/16 as a pit stop to Punta Cana D.R.. We had a blast. The house itself is in a prime location. You can walk to Frenchman St, The French market, even Bourbon St. No need for a car.

The house itself we felt had its pros and cons... 1st of all the house had a weird floor plan. You have to pass through the main bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on outside as well as your neighbors. The house is a duplex so there is a little shared laundry room that is in between the 2 units and you have to share the backyard and front porch. The front door needs replacing as it is very flimsy, we had people walk right in, thankfully they were friends of the tenants next door and went to the wrong house.

With that said, the kitchen and bathroom were updated and very nice. The bed in main bedroom was super comfy and the house was big enough to spread out in. The best part of this house is definitely the LOCATION...

Had a blast and will definitely be coming back...

House on Esplanade

We stayed here for our anniversary and had the perfect stay. The home was beautiful and the exact historical feel we were looking for. The location does not get any better than this. We didn't need to uber/taxi the entire stay apart from to and from the airport. It's key-code entry was easy to use and had us feeling very safe.

A quick and easy walk in the morning to cafe's and strolling the boutiques on royal street. We mostly spent evenings out on Frenchman street which to me captured the best music and vibe in New Orleans. We're hoping to stay here next year for our 2 year anniversary.

Carolyn was a great host and easy to reach which we only did once the day we landed because I couldn't find my email with the entry code.

Can't say enough good things about this spot and our trip. We also had super friendly neighbors renting out the other side and we'd front porch sit with them from time to time. Amazing stay.

Clean and comfortable!

My husband, adult son and I could not have found a better place to spend a long weekend. Location is the best for walking to the French Quarter and to Frenchman Street. We also purchased a 3 day Jazzy pass for the Street car line which was a great way to get around and very inexpensive. The French Market station is only a short walk from the house.

We were very comfortable and felt at home. The king bed in the master was fantastic! Nothing better than climbing into a comfy bed after a long day of sightseeing. Kitchen was nice and had everything needed. We will definitely rent this place again. Couldn't have had a better get away!

Great Property and Great Location

The property is in a great location. Walking distance to the French Quarter. The area is quiet at night and well lighted.

The house has all you need to have a perfect stay. I would recommend the property highly.

Cute house with an amazing location! There was more than plenty of room for our gamily of 4 and we enjoyed the orifinal details. In the french quarter. Several blocks from the river and the streetcar. Frenchman street is directly behind. Easy walking distance to endless restaurants, bars and shops. Excellent first trip to New Orleans.
