5 Bedrooms, 3 Bath Home great for entertaining

This is a Tropical Paradise. Upon entering the feeling is spacious, bright, with high ceilings and light colors. First level has living room, with sitting room and t.v. across from the kitchen area. There is seating for six at the bar and a table with six chairs. Up the stairs are three bedrooms all about the same size. 12x12 aprox. and one bedroom has a bathroom with shower. There is also a bathroom with bathtub at the top of the stairs. Bedroom with bathroom overlooks the pool and backyard. The downstairs has a den with laundry room and two bedrooms both about 12x12. There is also a bathroom with a shower. Double doors lead to the outside. Pool table, ping pong table, dart board, grass area, and bocce ball court.

This house would be perfect for a couple of families together. So much to do in this house you will never want to leave!!

About The Owner

Paul and Julie Craig. My husband and I have been married for almost 25 years. Five kids (his, mine and ours) Paul grew up in Santa Barbara and has never lived anywhere else. I grew up in the Los Angeles area.

The Owner purchased this house in 2006

Why The Owner chose Coast Village

We purchased this home in 2003. We spend five years doing renovations while living there! With a eye for design my husband fell in love with it's potential. It was a long road to accomplishing everything he wanted to do but eventually we succeeded. We wanted to live here permanently but due to the economy taking an unexpected turn we decided to turn our home into a vacation rental. We have enjoyed seeing many many families coming here for celebrations of all sorts and get to enjoy a wonderful place to come together and celebrate each other. This has brought us great joy.

What makes this house unique

One of the best features of this home is the location. We are walking distance to Coast Village Road, Butterfly Beach and Vons supermarket. We are minutes to State Street and the Santa Barbara Zoo.

Lovely retreat with great amenities!

A bunch of our girlfriends stayed in this lovely VRBO for a long weekend in March. The pictures don't begin to do justice to the details of this home. It's very comfortable with multiple beds, endless couches, and a wonderful, open layout. We enjoyed sitting around the kitchen stools cooking and chatting. The backyard amenities: a pool, hot tub, fireplace, trampoline, ping pong table, etc... made us never want to leave! It also we well located to grocery stores and a nice walk to the Montecito beach. It's also a short drive to Santa Barbara. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Perfect Paradise

This house is so wonderful. From the minute we walked in the red door, we were reminded how perfect our stay was 5 years ago. This trip didn't disappoint. The house has everything we needed during our extending Westmont Homecoming weekend. The grocery is convenient and close, many restaurants are within walking distance, and the beach is so special. The house is a great gathering place for friends to reconnect after many years apart. Thank you Julie and Paul.

Beautiful house - would definitely come back

Stayed here with 4 couples after a wedding in Santa Barbara. No need to ever leave the property. Other reviews said pictures don't do it justice, and they were right. Comfortable bedrooms, stocked kitchen, but the outside was heaven: from the pool to the hot tub to the gas fireplace. Bocce ball, pool table, ample seating (both dining and poolside). Close to everything - beach and activities- but you really don't ever have to leave!

Perfect place for a group weekend trip in Santa Barbara

The pictures do not even do this place justice. Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Was the perfect size for 10 girls, we had plenty of space. The pool and back yard are amazing to take advantage of. And the location couldn't be better. Literally around the corner from the grocery store and a quick 10 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara. I wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend and would love to come back.

Wonderful property for families

This is our fourth time staying at this beautiful home. It is spacious with so many different places for people to hang out and for kids to play. The best part is the large backyard. It kept our family with kids ages 3-15 entertained so we parents could relax and enjoy our week. Highly recommend!
