August 2017 Stay

  • 5 of 5

This is our 3rd year to stay at Trails End 501, and we have absolutely loved it. The location is perfect - easy walking access to the to Main Street, Maggie Pond, the Children's Museum, and the Gondola, and this place has a great view! This year the owners updated the condo - the bedroom furniture, the mattresses, and appliances have been updated and have made our stay even more pleasant. We have stayed the past two years, and I will say one of the drawbacks were the mattressess - they have since been updated and sooo comfortable now! The condo building itself is also very quiet, which I so appreciate when we bring our young kids here. Love this spot, and can't wait to stay again.

May 2017 Stay

  • 5 of 5

We have been to Breckenridge multiple times and this was a wonderful place to stay. The condo was recently updated with new appliances, and very comfortable mattresses. It's an amazing location right at the base of peak 9 and you can walk right into town and in the winter it is ski in and ski out. Would definitely return to stay here again.

Great location, average condo

  • 3 of 5

The location was definitely the best part of this rental unit. We could ski right out from a path out the back door down to the Quicksilver Lift. And it was easy to ski back in each afternoon. We had one request from the staff prior to check-in, and they had it complete by the time we arrived at the condo. We also had one problem occur during our stay which they also addressed promptly. The living room furniture was comfortable although we could never get the fireplace to turn on - not a big deal since we were warm the whole week. In fairness, we did not report that. The beds were VERY firm to the point of being considered hard. As an over 40 year old, that made me really sore in the mornings. The chest of drawers in the second bedroom was horrible. The drawers didn't slide out well at all, and it seemed like it was on the verge of falling apart. The second bedroom is VERY TINY, and my husband and I joked that we couldn't both be in there at the same time. Also, I wish that there was a curtain or something across the bathroom area for the second bathroom. I was brushing my teeth in the hall without privacy. Overall though, we will not be staying in this condo again. I would rather pay more and not have a sore back every morning. But that is personal preference; a lot of people love hard mattresses!

Owner's Response: Dear Wbsherlock: Thank you for your review of Trails End #501! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service. I have shared your review with the owner about mattresses being hard, the need to replace the dresser in the second bedroom, as well as the suggestion about the curtain in the second bathroom - thank you for noting! Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge! Sincerely, V. Peyton Rogers Director of Sales Great Western Lodging 970-453-1009
