We live in Salt Lake City and do not like the winter so much, so we bought a place in St. George to have somewhere to go to get out of the snow! We love it there and wish we could be there more. We manage to go about once a month and have been slowly remodeling the last couple years. It has been a fun project for us! One day we hope to retire there in the winter time! We have alot of friends that we have had come and stay and now we are sharing it with you! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do and come and stay again and again!

To get out of the Snow!
Breathtaking views, great weather with a lot of sunshine, and lots of fun outdoor activities!
Our group of 6 met in St. George to continue our tradition of visiting some place together where none of us has been. We prefer to stay in a home so that we can just visit leisurely over coffee in the morning or dinner in the evening and it is like a sleepover! We wanted to go to Zion and Bryce National Parks as well as Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. This beautiful home became our sanctuary each evening when we came back from a full day of exploring. We also enjoyed the historic St. George area and even took a carousel ride! The glorious views and the comfortable interior and patio are just as shown in the pictures. Kimi was so very helpful and we loved sharing her home.
My wife and I traveled to St. George with friends and stayed for 7 nights at this wonderful Spanish style home. The home is even better than the pictures. If you want a relaxing stay in a homey location, this could be your choice. Kimi is so gracious and easy to work with and is very accomadating (sp?). The home is taken care of and the description of the property matches what is shown on this site.
There is so much to do in the area from golfing and hiking to Tuacahn theater. We recommend hiking beautiful Snow Canyon State Park. If you golf, go and play the Valderra@theLedges (the back nine is tremendous) and Sunbrook golf courses. Of course, Zion National Park is only 45 miles away. If you go in May-October, the north rim of the Grand Canyon is a must see. Then, there's the Red Cliffs Desert Preserve just north of St. George near Hurricane. If you go to the Red Cliffs, take wading shoes to walk up the creek within the preserve.
Just relaxing out on the well appointed patio is a plus. If you want to stay home, cooking can be done on a wonderful stove.
Anyway, thanks Kimi for the use of your home!
This home has been masterfully converted from run-of-the-mill residence to a beautiful hacienda style vacation home. Ground level with eclectic western interior. It is extremely well kept with comfortable beds. We stayed for four days and enjoyed every minute. Large windows open to red rock plateaus from the back of the home. Convenient location just outside St. George.
