Moved to the Green Valley area in 1996 after traveling all over the US in our RV and finding this area with the best weather year round. Moved two times in Green Valley and then scaled down and found this perfect townhouse. Still traveling we located a home in Las Vegas that we thought we would use as a second home and commute to and from AZ but ended up liking it here and decided to use the townhouse as a rental. We still come and stay in the townhouse when it isn't rented as we have many friends in the area and the weather is much better than Vegas. We have been married 39 years and think maybe one day of moving back to this townhouse.
Marlene Baggett purchased this townhome in 2010
Loved this particular townhouse because of the location…Sunsets and sunrises surpass any we have ever seen and he view of the mountains from the front window or when sitting on the front patio is just breathtaking. It is close to library, church, grocery store, Wednesday market and White Elephant, a type of goodwill store that is not to be missed.
The huge saguaro tree is one of the few in the neighborhood so it acts as a landmark. End unit so it has the feel of a home. Two covered carport spaces. Desert behind back of beautifully landscaped home so it is very private.
We enjoyed our stay in Arizona very much. Your place was very comfortable and convenient to all of Green Valley.
We will be back.
Wow! This was the perfect fit for a family of 4 visiting family in Green Valley for Christmas break. When I return with my family to visit my parents, we will look no further than this property. From the very beginning, Marlene was phenomenal to work with. She answered every question I had (and I had a lot!). She emailed me in advance confirming I had reserved the access information to the condo. The condo was nicely located to the conveniences of Green Valley, easily walkable. Everything a person, couple or family needs, is there. From the extra towels, sheets, and bedding to tennis rackets and balls, to the well stocked kitchen. The patios were nice size. The condo was spacious, the furniture comfortable - even the beds were comfy - I wanted to bring home the big one! If you are looking for a place in GV for a week or for the month or for the snowbird season, look no further!
We stayed at this townhouse the month of April. There was still snow on the ground when we left Maryland.
The weather in AZ was perfect. Cool in the mornings for your walking and warm in the afternoon for swimming at the local pool.( A short two blocks away) The house is decorated perfectly with South West charm and was very comfortable. We had a great time visiting lots of museums in Tucson. Our favorite was the Desert Museum. The owner was very nice to work with. We would like to come back again sometime!
We stayed at this townhouse in early/mid December. It was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our week here. The back patio was great in the afternoon, when it was warmed by the sun. The front patio was sheltered and sunny in the morning, nice for relaxing with a cup of coffee. There is a gas fireplace in the living room, which added ambiance and warmth in the evenings. Beds very comfortable, even for my Mother with her bad back! It felt like home very quickly. Marlene was easy to work with, had some great suggestions, and was very responsive when we had trouble with the internet. It is located in a great area, with easy access to town and the highway. Neighbors pleasant and also helpful. It was fun to see the southwest decorated for Christmas- ie santa hats on the cactus. Weather very pleasant in early December- warm days, chilly nights. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to return someday!.
I rented this property for January and February, 2013. It was a perfect place to stay! The location is close to everything, and the property is very tastefully decorated. I love color, so I felt right at home! I found the landlords very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Just behind the house is a pathway that leads to the library and White Elephant resale store in one direction and Las Campanas Rec Center in the other. Many other things are nearby. Green Valley is full of activities to plug into, so there's never a dull moment. A tenant pass to the 13 rec centers is included with the rental. I would rent this again if I hadn't purchased a property in Green Valley of my own!
After my visit in June, my Mother's health declined, so she decided to move to assisted living 10 minutes from our home in Nevada. Luckily, my husband and I were able to rent this Casa Paloma I Townhome while we packed Mom up for her move! The owners, as before, were a delight and easy to work with. The home is so well maintained, comfortable, and beautifully appointed with a Southwest decor. We enjoyed grilling on the back patio, and since the Monsoon season was in full swing, we were treated to a couple amazing light shows between the Santa Rita Mountains and our comfortable seats on the front patio. It was truly a sight to be seen!
This home has 3 flat panel TV's and Wifi, which we used daily to keep in touch with family and friends. The Queen Bed was a dream to sleep on and we loved the master walk-in shower. We cooked several meals in and found everthing and more needed to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also dined out on several occations and found several restaurants close by that we enjoyed. Don't miss visiting the White Elephant when you are visiting, an adventure for sure! One evening, we went to see a movie at the multi theater complex only 5 minutes away.
My husband, like me, thought the neighborhood was well cared for and private. After hours of packing, it was a short 4 block walk to the pool for a dip and some well needed relaxation. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely plan to do another in this lovely Townhome 2014!
My 86 year old Mother lives in a small apartment only a 3 minute drive from this lovely townhome. Since Mom had several doctor appointments, I thought it would be nice to rent a home rather than stay in a local hotel. Wow, my stay was like being in my own home! The townhome was 5 star, spotless, spacious, and beautifully appointed. It was wonderful to cook some of my meals in the fully outfitted kitchen and to eat on the front patio in the evening with the outstanding view of the Santa Rita Mountains. This home is centrally located, so getting to the grocery stores, movie theater, and restaurants was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again!
