Aloha! Of all the places we have visited, Hawaii is the paradise we enjoy the most! It is for this reason, we have made it our family tradition the past few years to spend vacation time on one of the islands. Our favorite island is Maui, with its beautiful beaches, snorkeling and all the other wonderful things to do.
KBPI HKK505 purchased this condo in 2014
Some of the activities we enjoy most are watching the brilliant sunsets, seeing the turtles come up on the beach to bask in the sunset, the whales breaching in the winter months, the colorful variety of fish in the ocean, spending time at the beach and browsing the shops and galleries and eating in the restaurants on Front Street. The drives on the scenic roads are breathtaking and we enjoy the hospitality of the local shops and eateries along the roadways.
We do hope you enjoy your stay at our beautiful condo with the stunning ocean view. We have left a few of our beach/ocean toys for you to enjoy. We hope you have a wonder time in our “Endless Summer” condo and return again and again!

There were 4 of us in my family that stayed in this unit. It was nicely furnished, clean, and had a well stocked kitchen. You can see the ocean from the large lanai. We enjoyed eating dinner with breath taking sunsets from the lanai The resort is very nice with lots of families staying here. The staff from the pool service and activites were great!! We rented kayaks and had a great time. Aloha!
Our family loved this rental -- the location was great and the view from the lanai was absolutely fabulous! Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Four of us spent one week in paradise! Our accommodations were exceptional, modern, clean with a fantastic view of the garden below and the ocean with the occasional whale sighting.
We watched the sunset from our balcony and enjoyed many meals and cocktails at Duke's, the restaurant on the beach.
Definitely would stay here again!
Excellent location on the coast, easy to get to restaurants, beaches by car or walk. The condo was very nice, great view of the ocean from the lanai.
I chose this unit for the west facing views and was not disappointed. The balcony is second in from the ocean side and has a dead on view of the sunsets every night. It also overlooks the quiet adult pool, to the left. Nice and shaded in the mornings for coffee good for afternoon sun
The condo itself was very nice, love the folding doors and long balcony. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great as was the kitchen. The unit was very well stocked with non food items such as laundry soap, garbage bags, coffee filters and so on. Wish someone would add spices and basics like salt and pepper. The other 3 bedroom unit that the rest of our group rented (329) had lots of these items. The resort has a lot of kids running around so if you are adults looking for quiet this may not be the resort for you. The quiet pool is good but it is not overly large. We chose this resort to accommodate my elderly father. The building and quiet pool are very good for seniors, good steps with railings, no pool in any part of the complex is deeper than 4 feet. Beach is a little steep going down to the ocean, but walkways to and along the beach are great. Dukes restaurant needs to expand it's menu selections especially for dinner. It is ok for lunch and ok if you have kids, but it is certainly not for foodies. Air conditioning is very good and controlled separately in each of the bedrooms. The ceiling fans in each room including the living room is a very welcome addition.
Elevators can be a bit of a pain, not enough in my opinion for the number of people in the building.
Overall we were happy with this unit.
We love staying at the Honua Kai Resort, and Konea 505 did not disappoint. The two bedroom suite is extremely well appointed with granite counter kitchens and two master suites with two full baths. Great for families or two couples.
The view is special with a very large balcony to enjoy it on, eat meals on the balcony with ease and enjoy the view all day long, but sunsets are the most special.
Maui has so much to do and see, and staying at the Honua Kai Konea 505 made the trip extra special for my family.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Konea 505. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting great views and comfortable furnishings while you relax in beautiful Maui. Beds were very comfortable, nice kitchen set up, excellent TV quality, and large lanai. We loved having breakfast every morning on the lanai and watching the gorgeous sunsets in the evening. It was great having two almost identical king bed suites, which made it easy for two couples deciding who got the first pick of the bedrooms!
We found the Honua Kai grounds/pools, etc well maintained with ample underground parking and easy access to the elevator from Konea 505. Enjoyed using the BBQ grills and had great meal at Duke's.
Lastly, Kaanapali Beach Properties were great to work with and very responsive to all our questions.
This was our first visit to Maui and we feel lucky that we came upon Honua Kai and Konea 505. We hope to be back soon!
Long ago Ka’anapali was the royal retreat and playground for the rulers of Maui. The miles and miles of perfect golden sand beaches, gentle waves, ideal weather, and green mountain scenery was the place where royalty surfed, swam, raced their outrigger canoes, and feasted for weeks on end.
Today you can do exactly the same things that only the royal family of yesteryear had access to – the Honua Kai Resort is right in the heart of Ka’anapali and all the activities that Maui is known for around the world.
The boardwalk, between the Honua Kai and the ocean, takes you south to Whalers Village, a world class shopping village which has 70+ shops, cafes, and elegant restaurants – you can walk it in 45 minutes and get a great walk by the ocean. The peaceful walk will get you in the mood for some great dining and shopping.
Ka’anapali has the right mixture of sun, rain, and mist to support two world class golf courses. Kaanapali Golf Resort's Royal Kaanapali Course and the Kaanapali Kai Course.
Just across the street from the Honua Kai Resort is a full service grocery/liquor store along with numerous other shops and restaurants.
