About the property

Tranquil Wild Dunes Grand Pavilion Beach House (Brand New To Rental Market)

Enjoy the world-class amenities of Wild Dunes Resort from our charming three bedroom, three bath Grand Pavilion home - located in the Seaside/Grand Pavilion area on a quiet, tree-lined street in the most sought after area of the resort. The wonderful distinctive architectural style of this area is the true heart and soul of Wild Dunes. From the front door of this lovely home to the water’s edge is less than a three minute walk.

This house offers full access to the Grand Pavilion area - including the 2 oceanfront Grand Pavilion pools! It also comes with the Wild dunes sportscard so you can enjoy all of the amenities the resort has to enjoy.

Porches are the central theme of all the Seaside houses. A large front porch with old-fashioned rocking chairs, porch swing, and hammock is perfect for greeting friends and neighbors walking by on their way to all the social activities at the Grand Pavilion. The expansive back porch is perfect for outdoor dining and lounging in softly cushioned sofas and chairs.

This 2000 square foot home that has been professionally decorated is perfect for gatherings, both large and small.

The spacious house (with beautiful heart-pine flooring throughout) features three bedrooms. A master with attached bath comes with a king feather bed and has a private entrance to the back porch. The guestroom, located just off the living room, offers a queen size feather bed and private bath. The final bedroom has two bunk beds – also with feather beds and shares the bath that opens to the living area. The younger generation will love being able to have constant sleep-overs! The upscale sofa in the living area is also a pull out queen sleeper, offering extra room for guests. All beds come complete with luxurious 300 count cotton sateen sheets.

The generously sized main living area stretches from the front door to the back door, with a wood burning fireplace as the central focal point. The open kitchen comes with everything you will need for entertaining family and friends.

Open to both the main living area and with French doors leading to the back porch, the chef will never feel left out of the party.

We have taken every opportunity to make you feel at home. There is a TV in every bedroom and we have added High Speed Internet for those that want to 'stay in touch'. And of course, we offer a Wild Dunes Sportscard that will give you access to all the activities the resort has to offer.

Staying within the gated community of Wild Dunes, affords great relaxation for families of all ages. Whether relaxing on the beach, sipping cool, island drinks up at the Grand Pavilion, or strolling along winding nature trails, there is something for everyone! You will enjoy calling this luxurious house your own during your relaxing vacation to South Carolina’s Low Country.

Great house

  • 5 of 5

Rented the house for a golf weekend. This is the nicest place we have ever rented for our annual guy trip. The bunk beds helped fit everybody in and were comfortable. The openness of the layout was great and we hung on the porch the most. My wife was jealous and we are looking to come back with another couple next summer. Thanks Beth!

great house

  • 5 of 5

Fabulous house! We could not have been more pleased. Loved the location, the decor, and porches most of all! Very close to the Grand Pavilion pools and also very close to the tennis center (very important to this group!) We have been renting in Wild Dunes for the past 8 years and have to say this one is by far the nicest house we have stayed in - a great surprise for my first time using VRBO...I'm sold!

Very Impressed!

  • 5 of 5

My sister booked two houses through Beth at the beginning of the summer. We were able to be in the same neighborhood which was very convenient for all our family members to visit each other. This home and the entire process of renting really impressed us. We felt right at home the moment we arrived. It was so well appointed, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bedding was so soft for the adults and the kids loved sleeping on the bunk beds. We had one small issue with the disposal (our fault) and Beth has a very nice young man, Brad, over immediately. We just want to say a BIG thank you to all involved in helping us have such a fantastic week with family!

Vacationable but not as described

  • 2 of 5

This house is in a good area among other properties that are currently being updated. But this house needs some badly needed attention! I want to be complimentary of the pluses, but honest for future renters. The linens are fantastic (the feather bed on the King might be nicer in the winter months) as are the dish ware and some decor. We love the porches that all these homes offer and we spent a lot of time there reading and relaxing. The hammock is a plus.

The kitchen needs some help. There is no ice maker currently running or dispensing water. You fill trays or purchase bags of ice. The dishwasher needs replacing due to age...a few times the rack rolled right onto the floor and lost a wheel. Knobs are coming off, I washed every pan before I used it, the kitchen sink sprayer is not secured to the sink and the cabinets show (and smell of) their age.

The master bedroom/bath is fine and the queen room is comfortable, but the pedestal sinks in that and the hall bath leave very little storage for personal items. The bunk room is a big problem with initially no furniture except the beds. The bunk room which initially only was home to the bunk beds -now does have a dresser (thanks to the owner who bought one and had it delivered while we were there). The hall bath has no outlets at all for drying hair or any other electrical appliances...the bath the 4 bunking occupants are supposed to share. Love the big dining table, but the den could use some area rugs and a hall tree or small tables for storing phones, sunscreen, etc...Kudo's to the owner for responding to an email I sent about the bunk room needing some sort of side table, storage, hangers, etc...She did send a very kind young man to do his best to add a few things.

Owner's Response: I have to say I was very surprised over this review. After receiving this - I went over to the house to take a look "through new eyes" to see what had happened since the beginning of the summer, as this house has always been one of the better kept houses (owner lives in the Charleston Area and is very responsive) This is what I found: Bunk room did need a new lamp between the beds, and some hangers (this has since been done) Living area did need a new rug (old rug had been moved to front hall so I moved back and bought a new rug for entry hall) The pictures of the house are perfectly in order - so you see exactly what the house looks like. There are more than enough tables to use in the living room. There is certainly no reason to put a "hall tree" in the entry - to do so would mean removing the game table which we feel is much more appropriate for a vacation beach house.. Kitchen is perfectly fine and functioning with nice pots, pans, and dishes. All appliances are in working order (new rollers for dishwasher have been ordered) We are very responsive when someone calls to say something needs attention. As for outlet in the bunk room bathroom - an electrician is going out there as I write this - so I can honestly say that this will be taken care of by the time this response goes live. The owner does a walk through every spring with me to see what this house needs. I stand behind how this house is represented 100%.

Comfortable and lovely

  • 5 of 5

This home was just right for our two families with young children. Our favorite part was the front porch - it was huge! The perfect spot for relaxing and playing games. The walk to the beach was easy and quick and we always had plenty of beach space.

We went into Charleston twice which was very easy - about 15-20 minutes.

I'd definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful beach vacation.
