Centrally located for a variety of destinations and pursuits, this premium vacation home is spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. Each of our residences is personally and individually decorated so you will be in a comfortable home. The spacious kitchen and breakfast bar are perfect for casual meals and the separate dining area offers views of Glacier Park mountains. The living room includes a library and the separate sitting room includes a gas fireplace. The master suite includes a large bathroom with double sinks, garden tub, and oversized shower with seating. The smaller bathroom has a tub/shower combo and single sink. The on site washer/dryer provides an extra convenience. Scheduled service to your home is provided to allow you to enjoy your vacation.

Nice for a manufactured home

Beautiful location, convenient to Many Glacier. Caretakers were helpful and attentive. There is no place to reasonably walk or stroll from the house. Renters should be aware that this is a double-wide (pretty much obvious from the photo) and the decor may not be to their taste. It is comfortable with a fairly well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. I thought the price was quite steep for what we got.

Perfect

Not for everyone, but it certainly was for us. You're 6 miles north of Babb, the last town before Canada. Babb is a population of 200, but does have about 10 restaurants in the vicinity (never could figure out why). But you're 1 mile from Hwy 17 which takes you to Waterton Canada, 6 miles to Many Glacier Road and about 12 miles to the GNP entrance. And you're away from it all. Remember Silence (except for wolves and coyotes - and you'll learn the difference? Remember stars out at night? Remember real hospitality -- the managers Terry and Gene are the ultimate hosts. If you want to get away from it all (and you really mean it), and still have quick access to the best hiking trails in the park, this is exactly for you.

Another great time

We stayed here in August of 2012 (hard to believe it was that long ago) and came back to stay this year. Everything I wrote in the last review still goes. It's still an incredibly peaceful place to stay, and that was especially needed with the humongous crowds in the national park itself. I think it is easier parking in downtown Chicago...

We saw deer every day out the window and heard coyotes a few times at night as well. Great base to explore the east side of the park and Waterton.

The caregivers Gene and Terry were nice and gave my wife the low-down on raising alpacas. No, dear we are not going to do that...

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. No complaints at all.

Great view and great location for trips to National Parks

We stayed at this rental to make it our home base between trips to Glacier and Waterton National Parks. It was a great location to reach both parks and was excellent to avoid the July crowds of the hotels within the parks or in Waterton. We felt like we were on our own reserve on the foothills of a nearby mountain with distant views on the other side. The home is mobile home but with plenty of space inside including two living rooms, a kitchen and dining room. It was great having a room for each of our two kids and two bathrooms. The master bath had a large tub and a separate shower. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and china for dinner in and a full-size refrigerator. The care taker stopped by to say hello and asked if we needed anything and to let us know how to reach her. She came in the home each day to do light housekeeping which was a big plus - I've rented several VRBO homes and this was the first I've had with daily housekeeping (nice!).

I was able to park my car right next to the patio/front door for convenience. The patio was great for sitting outside and trying and spot wildlife - binoculars were proved along with bear spray which we took with us to the National Parks (and needed as we ran into a mom bear and cub in Glacier!). The house care taker said that bears sometimes come near the home but thankfully we did not witness any. There were so many hummingbirds coming to feed on the patio feeder that we didn't bother counting them and they weren't afraid of us being nearby - that was cool. Having a washer and dryer was a great benefit to have since we were on a long road trip.

Positives:

*Great location for visiting the two nearby national parks

*great views

*peaceful, none-crowded location

*daily housekeeping

*plenty of kitchen utensils.

*loved the "egg" display/collection

*plenty of reading materials

*patio with great view

*wi-fi provided

-Things to note:

*road to home is dirt road, car will get dirty

*shopping/restaurants are 15+ minutes away and limited in available

*only one TV, which is in living room (this was a big deal for an electronic-starved teenager)

*my cell service was not available (although this could be considered a positive to most)

*master shower could use an update

*bed was not as comfortable as my wife and I would like

*big "Tombstone" movie poster in living room... why???

Overall, I consider it a good choice picking this rental with the location, views and daily housekeeping getting the highest marks.

A VALID credit card is required at check-in in lieu of a damage/cleaning deposit and will only be billed if damage/excessive cleaning expenses are incurred.
