This charming vacation home at is offered by Hill Property Management. Located just off Ski Hill Road. The home is a short four miles to center of Driggs. Situated mid way between Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National park, both about ninety minutes away.

The house is well suited to accommodate eight people and offers a large deck with a roomy 2.5 acres to enjoy. The views toward Grand Targhee Resort and the Teton Mountain range are superb, not to mention the entire 360 degree vistas. For skiers and those headed 'out and about' there is a weather radio for up to date conditions.

The master bedroom located on second floor offers its own bathroom and king size bed.

Loft area which is joined to master also has the second full bathroom with a queen bed and futon all in same loft area.

The main open floor plan has a spectacular view of the Tetons, totally stocked kitchen is situated beside the living room and queen bedroom with last the third full bathroom.

Laundry room offers a full size side by side washer and dryer, laundry soap provide.

The air conditioning system in the home is a plus to beat the hot summer heat; very relaxing after a hot summer day.

There’s a two car attached garage plenty of room for vehicles and all summer and winter equipment. this heated garage is a plus during winter months.

Over Teton Pass lies Jackson Hole with myriad attractions and activities. The area is well known for its skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and just nine miles away is wonderful family skiing at Grand Targhee Mountain resort. There is also Nordic skiing and snowmobiling - while in summer there's fly fishing on the Snake river or the Teton river.

Rafting, mountain biking, hiking and just relaxing are many of the things to offer.

I am William (Bill) W. Rosen of Franklin Tennessee. For many years, I rode horses at a Jackson, WY ranch and always wanted to own a place in the area with a view of the beautiful Tetons. In 2006, I was lucky to find this house that had been very well built by the then maintenance supervisor for Teton National Park. Two of my requirements were that a house had to have a view of the Tetons and had to have some land. This house fit every criteria. I am an attorney and photographer originally from New Orleans and now live in Franklin, TN. Included in the house are many of the photographs that I took over many years of visiting the Tetons. Since October, 2010, the house has been managed by Hill Property Management. It was formerly listed with another property manager and was known as 'Mt. Owen Escape.' In 2009, the address was officially changed to 1935 Fall Line Drive in order to satisfy EMS requirements, but Google Maps still has it as 195 Mt. Owen Drive. Enjoy.'

We chose to buy this home in the Teton Valley because it offers a special peace and quiet surrounded by tremendous beauty - yet there is everything we would want to do both close by and over Teton Pass in Jackson Hole. The convenience to two airports played a big part in our decision, and also the very gracious people we come across in the area.

What makes this house unique

The most unique benefit to staying at our property is an in-your-face view of the Grand Teton from the deck on the East side of the house. There are the smells and sounds of nature, prairie grasses and mature cottonwood trees and plenty of water attract migrating birds. It is a heavenly place to experience.

Beautiful Setting...House was a Little Small for Family & Kids

We enjoyed our stay very much. The grounds and surrounding mountains were breathtaking. Couldn't have asked for a better location. The home, itself, was very nice, but it was a little too small for our needs (we had 4 adults and 3 small children). The stairs up to the loft were a challenge for all of us. Very steep, and kind of scary for the little kids, especially the 18-month old. Thank goodness for the handrails on both sides. The loft area was super great! Master bedroom was amazing. The lower level was a bit cramped with all of us downstairs at one time, but we managed just fine. The downside to the experience was that there were earwig bugs everywhere. You'd get a dish out of the cupboard and three would pop up, you take a paper towel, and three would fall out from the towel, etc. That was nasty, but I don't know what could be done about it. Being out in the country a ways, might just be how it is. The three sets of French doors on the lower level was super great! All in all, a great experience. Claudia who is the property manager, was so very helpful from start to finish. She was a delight to work with for our needs. Enjoy your trip! The Allen's from Boise, ID & Powell, WY

We have used this property many times in the past.

The new heating system is an improvement over the old one: quieter and more reliable hot water in showers.

The loft area lacks privacy so this house works best for a family with children or two couples with 2-4 children rather than three adult couples but we knew that.

Everything is clean and in good order.

Targhee skiing is the main attraction for us.

Teton pass backcountry skiing is also easily acccessable.

Driggs has many nice restaurants but we mostly cooked at the house.

Amazing views, comfortable lodging, all in all a great weekend!

Really enjoyed your cabin in the snow! The views of the deck were fantastic! The only thing that would have made it better is a hot tub on the deck! The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and we had no problem cooking a big dinner for everyone. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

winter renatl...not so good

we booked the cabin for the week after Christmas. getting to Jackson hole by plane was the first issue we got. when on the 26th our flight was cancelled, we immediately called the rental agent. we wanted to make sure the house wasn't booked after we were supposed to leave so we would have a chance to extend 1 or 2 days the stay (delta airline permitting). we called several time and sent email and messages...with no response.

we finally got in the house a day later (dec 27th) and the house was definitely colder then expected. the internal temperature wasn't reaching 60 deg. after trying to troubleshoot using the directions found in the house (we later discovered being really old and useless) we tried again calling different times the rental agent.

again no answer. the following morning after 1 cold night of not sleep (53 degrees is cold..) we left 2 more messages and we finally got a call back. this was on dec 28th, 2 full days after trying to get in touch with her. Apparently she thought we were just not too good with the thermostat and said she would swing by at 4 pm to take a look. after a second phone call she decided to come and take a look at 11 am. they discovered that there was a problem with the condensation of the new AC system. it was a relief to know that we would finally be warm!!! at that point we did ask if the house was still available, since delta was letting us change our flights at no cost. the answer was yes it is available but is going to cost you more since is considered a daily rate not a full week (i still cannot believe she wouldn't consider the fact that we just extended the length of our stay, not rent 2 different days altogether). we then decided to leave and extend our vacation in Jackson at a local hotel for half of the price.

the house is nice, well furnished and in a good location but the experience we had with the local rental agency and the customer service was truly terrible and just for that reason we will not rent the same house another time.

Amazing location and home

Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. The view of the Tetons with the full moon rising, elk and moose on the property, the last great snowfall providing 6 inches on the decks and 12 inches of perfect powder at Grand Targhee. The six of us family members and our dogs had the time of our lives for 10 days. This property has it all - best stocked kitchen utensils i have ever encountered. Things not mentioned that were there include blender with a food processor attachment and all the pots, pans, and crockpots to make whatever pleases you. In addition , we used a clean, full tank propane Weber BBQ that is a great size. After skiing ,each couple had their own bath and the best, most comfortable beds. The house was clean including the large fridge/freezer The booking process was seamless thanks to the property manager. The neighbors who were around but seemingly acres away were super friendly and their dogs played outdoors with ours even taking walks thru the neighborhood. We felt so at home here and want to thank the owner for opening his home to us. We treated this cabin as if it were our own and hope to do this all over again. Very close to Grand Targhee, several cross country trails, and minutes from downtown with some excellent shopping and restaurants. The road to Yellowstone was closed for winter but the drive to Jackson and Teton National Park was worth the trip

Peaceful home for summer; wish I could return for winter fun!

This was a beautiful home with everything we needed to make this a perfect family vacation. It was clean with an excellent view of the Tetons and a great deck for evening relaxing. A few good golf courses in the area added to the site-seeing. The second floor was a bit hot in July.
