The two-story home is clean, spacious and comfortable with lots of sleeping space. Knotty pine interior in the first level for that 'Up-North' feel. Large, bright windows in all rooms. Two bedrooms have queen beds, 3rd has twin beds, 4th w/full/twin bunk, two pull-out sofas plus large open area upstairs. There is a full bath upstairs and another one down. Large, deep, grassy lot with room to pitch a tent for the kids.

Atlanta is the Elk Capital of Michigan. Kayak and paddleboat on Lake 15 or bring your boat for skiing and tubing. Part of the ThunderBay River system which you can canoe or kayak. Many day trip possibilities- an hour and 1/2 drive to the ferry to charming Mackinac Island, 35 minutes to shopping in Gaylord, 45 minutes to National Marine Sancuatary in Alpena.
