A wonderful setting to just relax. The views & atmosphere were truly enjoyable. It is the coast of Maine I remember as a child.
The children thought it was great having so many lobsters as "neighbors!
Sandy & Dan were the perfect hosts.
The cottage was just as it appeared in the add. It was clean, well appointed and exactly what we wanted. Close to Pemaquid attractions, but quite and peaceful. If you forgot to bring something, the owners were there to help with a smile. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a true visit to a lobster pond, and a restful week.
We enjoyed a week's vacation in Hamilton house, located on the water in sight of a small, working lobster pound. The house is well furnished, attractive, quiet, and comfortable, with wrap-around windows showing the water from the kitchen window and the living and dining areas. Wow. Sunsets over the water are a special treat. We were just minutes (quiet even in August) from great restaurants, shops, a lighthouse, state park and beach. The homeowners/couple live nearby and are friendly and knowledgeable. The husband is a long time lobsterman with great stories to tell. We hope to go back again soon!
