Wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

Our visit for the eclipse was magnificent, made all the better with this large and well appointed home. It is surrounded by pastures and fields that made for a most quiet and tranquil experience, just loved sitting on the deck and listening to natures sounds. And Victor, ID provided a great area for biking and hiking without the crowds. Everyone enjoyed it so much, we are looking to a return even without an eclipse event.

Lovely accommodations

  • 5 of 5

We were traveling with two couples to visit the Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole and West Yellowstone so the location was great considering we were covering such a large area. The home is seclude, but the town of Victor and Driggs gave several dining options. The home was clean , well supplied and the hot tub ( even the large soaking tub) made for a relaxing retreat after sight seeing all day! The outdoor waterfall and fire pit made for fun evenings, we even made friends with the nearby horses. Only consideration might be that it's customary in Idaho to not have air conditioning as they only need it for a month or two out of the year, so some mid afternoons (August) it got somewhat warm but plenty of fans were supplied and there was a nice cross breeze so was never really an issue . So Overall , it was wonderful and a definite thumbs up!

Beautiful cabin, fantastic setting

  • 5 of 5

Clean, beautifully furnished, peaceful. This is a place you want to come to and stay the entire week and just enjoy unwinding. We had full days planned so didn't spend as much time as we would have liked enjoying this wonderful place. Comfortable beds, beautiful upgrades to enjoy, good books to read. We did go into Victor the first night and enjoyed burgers at the place that was recommended and they were good! Beautiful short drive to Jackson Hole. Would highly recommend!

Best spot ever!

  • 5 of 5

The home was perfect, cozy, clean and welcoming. It allowed each of us (4) to have our own room for privacy with lots of space to be together. So well appointed, there really wasn't anything that was missing in the kitchen! Was great to sit on the porch each night and talk about our day, with the sound of the outdoor fountain in the background. Late afternoon views of the area from the porch are beautiful. There for a 5 day fly fishing trip, it was a good central locale for fishing in WY and ID w/out having to deal with the chaos of traffic and people that takes over Jackson in the summers. It was close enough though to enjoy restaurants in nearby Driggs and Jackson. Could not have been a better place to stay in and highly recommend this home!

Perfect Place to Stay and Enjoy Both Idaho & Wyoming!

  • 5 of 5

I don't think we could have picked a better place to stay! Cindy was very responsive to any questions we had, and she offered great suggestions to anything we asked about. There was only two of us, so we had plenty of room. The house was very clean and well furnished with anything we needed. We cooked a lot of our meals in house and the kitchen was equipped with the utensils and small appliances we needed; we also used the gas BBQ on the front patio. The patio furniture was great to sit outside and enjoy our meals. (The covered patio w/BBQ is on the east side of the house, away from the afternoon sun & heat.) The master bed was very comfortable & the master bathroom and HUGE shower was amazing! The daytime temperatures during our stay were in the high 80s - low 90s and the basement was a cool relief on the day we decided to stay in and just relax. We had a great time on two occasions at the nearby Grand Teton Brewing Company, sitting outside and enjoying their patio / lawn area with a cold brew. We took-in the Driggs Rodeo one night and had a great time. Broulim's Supermarket in Driggs worked out well. We would recommend Tatanka Tavern in Driggs and Big Hole BBQ in Victor, for great food & craft beers. The drive over Teton Pass to the Jackson Hole area was easy and the summit offers an amazing view of the valley. We saw moose on the Idaho side of Teton Pass, and elk on the road to JHR / Teton Village. Finally, we can not tell you enough how relaxing it was to sit outside of Cindy's house at night by the fire pit with a bottle of wine and enjoy the peace & quiet, it was amazing! We spent hours out there just enjoying the evening breeze, the natural sounds and the bright moonlight from above. On our final night there, we sat by the fire pit starting near dusk, and watched a thunderstorm move across the sky from Driggs towards Teton Pass. We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back on our next trip to the area!
