About the property

3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 3 Ba, (Sleeps 8.) Summer dates fill early.

This lovely log home sits out in the pastures near Victor, Idaho, under the bluffs of the Teton foothills. It is near the base of Teton Pass, and provides equal access to Grand Targhee Ski Resort or Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. In summer it is convenient to those visiting both Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.

The home has a charming, cozy feel to it, with a vaulted ceiling over the open-plan living / dining / kitchen area. The main level also has laundry, mud room, full bathroom, queen bedroom, and front entry deck. The master suite is upstairs and the lower floor consists of 'almost' an apartment. There is a large open space with sitting area with pull-out sofa, TV, two twin beds, mini kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave oven, counter with sink and cabinets above and below. A separate queen bedroom and full bath are also on this floor.

Victor is 3/4 of a mile and has several excellent dining choices, and a small market offering a tasty deli and everyday essentials. Nearby Jackson has numerous cultural and entertainment activities year-round.

The area abounds with outdoor sports and activities. Mountain biking, skiing, canoeing, rafting, wildlife watching, road biking, rock climbing, mountaineering - too much to list and all near the mountain / western town of Jackson with its art galleries, restaurants, and outfitters.

Please check availability on the calendar. The summer and fall calendar books up early.

Wonderful location with gorgeous views

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a mini family reunion and will definitely be back! Convenient location to the town of Jackson Hole and Grand Teton national park. Driggs is only about 15 min away with a great grocery store and other amenities. Wildlife brewpub is a short walk away with great food and beer. Grand Teton brewery is also an easy walk with great beer and a fascinating brewery tour.

Well equipped kitchen.

Description accurate of cabin, location and directions. Customer service was wonderful with owner.

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed our stay but was disappointed in cleanliness of place. Bedding and towels were all clean and ready to use. The place had not been vaccumed or dusted for a while so it was not as ready for children to be on floor to play. It is pet friendly which we appreciated. You have to remember being pet friendly their has been other peoples pets in there and we had problems with our allergy's possible because of a cat being there before. Overall we recommend this VRBO.

Owner's Response: It is disappointing you were not pleased with the house. The house had been cleaned thoroughly the week before your arrival, but log houses are dusty, and it doesn't take long for dust to reappear. I am pleased to offer my house to people traveling with their pets as it can be so difficult to find suitable accommodations; however, there have never been cats in the house. It is my goal to provide every guest with a five-star stay. You had mentioned you had not used VRBO before, and if you choose to again I hope you will find a five-star experience.

Perfect house for our family

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in Victor, ID. Cindy's house was perfect for my husband & I, 3 adult kids, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 3-year old, and 3 dogs. Everyone had plenty of room. Furnished and decorated impeccably, it felt like home. We had everything we needed throughout the house including doggie treats in the mud room! We visited Jackson ( a short 20 scenic miles) for shopping and groceries, however Victor has a small grocery that is worth visting. We walked to the Grand Teton Brewery from the house and enjoyed craft beers and sunsets views. However, we mostly stayed in cooking, watching football, puzzling and playing Mexican dominos. Great place for a family get together!

Absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations!

  • 5 of 5

We were beyond pleased with the property and would love to stay here again when visiting the Jackson/Teton Valley area. The home is gorgeous and the location and yard is beautiful! The grocery store in town is great; we picked up delicious goodies for the weekend. Cindy's home has every single thing one would need to enjoy; the kitchen is full of cooking gear and each bathroom was so nicely prepared. Her decorations were beautiful and the outdoor hot tub and yard is perfect. Easy if you have a dog (we had two) to walk or just let out in the yard; and the horses nearby were adorable and fun to watch! I am so glad I found her property on VRBO.

Lovely, well appointed home

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely property with everything you will need and more. It's a scenic ride over the Pass to Jackson Hole (about 30-40 minutes) and close to the town of Driggs which is lovely (try Forage Bistro there). It is located in a small community and there are horses on site (or nearby) to see right out your window. The property is very clean and well maintained. Yellowstone is within driving distance but consider spending the night there since the park is enormous. Don't miss the bison. Try a meal at Stagecoach on the way to Jackson Hole. Our daughter enjoyed the activities at Snow King such as the ropes course and roller coaster. The base of Jackson Hole also has fun activities. It's a well appointed home off the beaten path.
