Of all the community resorts in the area, Windsor Hills offers the most and best vacation amenities, including a lagoon-style, double Olympic-size heated pool with two-story water slide, children's play area and zero entry area, hot tub, clubhouse, fitness center, game room, video arcade, movie theater, sundry shop, tiki bar, children's playground, putting green, and tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. There are also outdoor cooking areas, RV parking areas, and shuttles to area attractions.

Our spacious, refurbished 1400+ square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath condo is located just steps away from all resort activities and services. Parkhopper Place features the largest condo floor plan available in Windsor Hills. After a long day of parkhopping, let the warm, rich colors of Parkhopper Place welcome you to your home away from home where everything has been planned for your comfort and relaxation. You can sink into the comfort of soft leather furniture, watch cable or DVDs, or enjoy one of the 3 HD flat screen TVs, prepare a snack or a full meal in the fully equipped kitchen, enjoy a cool drink on the lanai, grab a beach towel and head to the pool, do laundry, or simply relax and enjoy your vacation. A secure Wi-Fi connection and long distance calls to the US, Canada & Puerto Rico are provided at no additional charge.

As our pictures will show, the kitchen features a refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, a large stove with full-size oven, a microwave, and dishwasher. The double sink features a garbage disposal, and small appliances include coffee maker, toaster, blender, electric can opener and crock pot.

Additionally Parkhopper Place features dinnerware, flatware, and glassware for 8 or more, a full set of cookware, bakeware, a knife set, mixing bowls, pitchers, measuring utensils, pot holders, kitchen towels, and assorted kitchen tools and gadgets. Virtually everything you need to prepare and serve simple meals and snacks is in the kitchen for your use.

ParkHopper Place has been upgraded with new paint, decor and electronics in November 2016. The new decor includes new leather furniture to complement the 55" flat screen HD television in the living area, a redecorated master bedroom and bath in cool, tropical colors, and a newly redecorated main bath and Mickey Room.

Perhaps the most striking addition to ParkHopper Place is our new Star Wars Room. This is our largest bedroom, and it has been completely refurbished with all new furnishings, mattresses, and decor. It features a queen bed with a new quality mattress set and a futon which can make into a full bed, allowing this room to accommodate up to 4 guests. The Star Wars Room features special ceiling lighting which can be dimmed for magical effects or turned off completely if the experience of deep space darkness is desired. For the less adventuresome, the dimmed lights make a spectacular night light! Two large mirrors and multiple angled mirrored stars on the walls all reflect the special lighting for a magical effect. This room is designed to be for ALL Star Wars fans, whether they be male, female, young, or simply young at heart!

The laundry area includes a large capacity washer and dryer. A Pack 'n Play crib, high chair, and a mid-weight folding stroller are available for our smallest guests at no extra charge. Ceiling fans are in all rooms.

About ParkHopper Properties by Carolyn and Charles Hudson

ParkHopper Properties is owned by Carolyn and Charles Hudson. Originally from Mississippi, Birmingham, Alabama has been home for over 39 years. We are the parents of 5 adult children, and we now have LOTS of grandchildren. :o)

We cherish the memories we made on family trips to the Orlando area when our children were small. Now that they have their own families, they enjoy bringing their children to the same theme parks they enjoyed as children.

Two of our daughters worked as musical performers at Disney both in California and Florida, so even after our children were grown, we made many trips to Disney to see their shows. We have stayed in most of the Disney properties and some private rental properties over the years. Once we 'discovered' Windsor Hills, we never stayed anywhere else! It simply could not be beat for facilities and convenience.

In 2012 we decided to buy our first condo in Windsor Hills because we wanted to have a place available to bring our grandchildren. Because our family kept expanding with new grandchildren, we found we needed more room, so we purchased an additional units that suited our location requirements as they became available.

With owning multiple units and managing them ourselves, we found that refurbishing the units offered a creative outlet and managing them was somewhat like a part-time job. Now that we are retired (medical and teaching), we decided that managing additional units would be a suitable job for two retirees.

ParkHopper Properties now owns and manages a total of 7 condos in Windsor Hills. Five of them are in the building adjacent to the pool, and two are diagonally across the street from the pool building. Having all of the properties close together gives us the flexibility of having properties suitable for larger groups.

We have stayed at Windsor Hills many times over the years as well as at many other locations in the Orlando-Kissimmee area. When we decided to buy a property, we only considered Windsor Hills. It offers the best location, immaculately maintained landscaping, and many resort amenities. We wanted to have a home away from home that our family and friends could all to enjoy. After staying at many places near to Disney, we found that this was the closest one to the main gate. We can actually be at some of the Disney attractions faster than staying at Disney and using their transportation. The property provided all that we could ask for in a vacation home. It was exciting for us to know that we could share this vacation home with our grandchildren. They love the zero entry pool with the water slide. Some days, they prefer to spend time in the pool rather than going to the theme parks.

What makes this condo unique

When we were looking for a property to buy, we wanted to purchase a ground floor unit. After staying on upper floors, we found that it was much more convenient to walk from the condo to the car without the hassle of waiting for the elevator, or worrying about small children on the stairs. We completely redecorated the condo after we purchased it so that it would have a fresh look for our family and our guests, and we added a lot extras to make the unit comfortable and convenient for our family, friends, and guests.

We had enjoyed Parkhopper Place for 4 years, but we recently decided it was time to change out some of our decor, so on November 19, 2016, Parkhopper Place was reopened with our new Star Wars Room and some other updates. We can't wait for all of the Star Wars fans in our family to see it, and we hope you like it, too!

Our condo offers more than 1400 square feet of comfort and all the amenities you’ll need to make your stay enjoyable. Our unit is located in a quiet area where there is less foot and vehicle traffic, yet it is a leisurely 2 minute walk to the back entrance of the pool and clubhouse. You can park in front of the building or along the side and still be conveniently located near the front and back entrances of the condo. Because we are on the ground floor, we have a lanai with a screen door that opens out to the professionally landscaped courtyard, which is just steps from the putting green and volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts. The living room has plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the comfy couch and loveseat. There is a 42-inch HDTV, DVD, and cable in the living room, and HDTVs with DVD players in the two master bedrooms. We provide free wireless Internet, free long distance calls to the US, Canada & Puerto Rico plus a Pack 'n Play, stroller, and high chair

Terrific!

Windsor Hills is a great place to stay; it is very close to Disney, restaurants and grocery stores. It is also close to the Expressway which makes getting to non-Disney places such as Sea World or Spring Training Baseball very easy. Windsor Hills has a terrific pool (and waterslide)…it must be one of the best off of the grounds of Disney.

The owners have taken care to insure that this is a place you will enjoy. The unit was clean, nicely furnished and very tastefully decorated. The unit was spacious and could accommodate a large family.

I dealt directly with the owner rather than a property management company. Communicating with the owner was simple and straight forward; she was very responsive to e-mail and phone. I recommend this property to others.

Nice property

We had a great time here. Condo is spacious and allowed for enough room for our party of six. The beds were incredibly comfortable! The one suggestion I would have is to invest thirty dollars or so and replace all the cooking utensils. They were very old and worn and didn’t match up with the overall feel of the property. We made two meals a day for one week and some utensils could not even stir without bending in half. Everything else was really great and the owners were very attentive and friendly.

Perfect stay for the second time at this unit

My 7-year old daughter and I had a great stay in the condo. We stayed in the same unit a year earlier as well. The pool was wonderful and very warm even on much cooler days, and there will be a pool expansion this year too. The condo is situated near all parks and we could cook breakfast there each morning and also use the washer/dryer before heading home. Carolyn was very prompt and attentive with all communication. Thanks again!

Just spent a long weekend with my 2 daugthers and wife at this great condo. The location couldnt be better, very close to park, short drive or $8 Uber. The place itself was very clean and perfect size for our family. I would recommend to anyone. It was cold so we didnt get to use the community pool but that looked great as well.

Windsor Hills is the closest community vacation resort to Disney (only 2 miles) and is located for easy access to other area attractions including Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens, Wet-N-Wild, Arabian Knights, Medieval Times Dinner Show, Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show, and Dixie Stampede. Its central location provides quick access to major highways so guests can take day trips to beaches and other attractions in other parts of Florida, such as Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Daytona Beach, and Clearwater Beach. In addition, within a few miles there are numerous golf courses, outlet shopping, and hundreds of restaurants, as well as opportunities to visit museums and historic landmarks.

This is a smoke-free unit. Pets are not allowed in the condos at Windsor Hills. Check-in time is 4 pm, and check-out time is 10 am. 13% FL tax charged on all rental and cleaning fees. Full deposit return for cancellations made more than 60 days prior to arrival date.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:
Cancellation policy: Booking may be canceled at any time up to or during the Rental Period. In the event that the Guest exercises the right to cancel, the following cancellation penalty rates will be applied:
Cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival date, no penalty
60 to 29 days prior to arrival date, $200 deposit is forfeited
28 to15 days prior to arrival date, 50% of Total Rental Fee is forfeited
14-8 days prior to arrival date, 75% of Total Rental Fee is forfeited
7 days or less prior to arrival date, 100% of Total Rental Fee is forfeited
- Cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival during holiday periods are subject to a penalty of 100%
of the Total Rental Fee.

It is not the intention of Parkhopper Properties to benefit financially from a cancellation. If the canceled dates can be re-booked and the funds received from re-booking these dates plus the forfeited funds are greater than the amount of the original rental cost, the excess funds will be returned to the original guest minus a $50 changeover fee.

All Cancellations must be received in writing. The Guest is reserving a specific property for a specific date. If the dates or the property are changed, the cancellation policy would apply. If the length of the stay is reduced, the cancellation policy would apply to the canceled nights. We regret that we cannot waive any of the above cancellation charges for any reason. Please consider travel insurance in the event weather related situations or sudden illnesses or emergencies occur.
