Porec is a town with a pleasant sun and warm sea. There are attractions such as the Baredine, Bazillika, city walls and temples. It is clean and there is clear water at the beach for adults and children. There are restaurants with the national cuisine of Croatia, like fish, squid, good wine, Malvazia, and ham with sharp cheese. There are also clubs, discos and bars for young people. Cruises by boat are possible and the National Parks are worth a visit. If you come to Istria and you are real gourmets, follow your host in the discovery of the traditional cuisine. If you are in Istria during the spring, you can enjoy the wild asparagus, which is very healthy and prepared in various ways. In the summer there is some lighter food, especially seafood: fish, crabs, mussels. Oliveoil for health, and fish specialties. The grocery store LIDL is nearby, and soon there will be a Kaufland store as well.
