Casa Pacifica Saladita is wonderful ocean front home located on the North end of La Saladita beach just 40 min North of Ziuatanejo in the state of Guerro on the Pacific side.
Our home was just completed in August of 2010. The home has 5 ocean view rooms with 5 full baths and guest closets. Two of the rooms are masters with king size beds, while the other two are equipped with queens and two twin bunk beds in each room. The downstairs bedroom has a king. The four upstairs rooms have private white water viewing decks as the downstairs has white water view!
French doors that lead out to the swimming pool and beach. Our beautiful pool is a large infinity edge pool that has 100% unobstructed view of the surf and beach. If you want to get out of the sun our large palm palapa will keep you cool while laying in our recliners over looking the pool and surf.
The house also offers a media room which includes a 37 inch flat screen tv, with DVD and a Wii video game system. We do have a ipod hookup so bring your Ipod and enjoy our indoor/outdoor speakers.
We have a full kitchen, a full dining room with a large dinner table, a lounge area with a large couch as well. We have Air conditioners in every room of the house. Note all these areas have white water view with the exception of the media room.
The house also has a third story roof top deck for a panoramic view of the rain forest and the ocean. We have a full time caretaker named Guillermo who speaks perfect English. For just $50 a day for groups of 6 or less you can have Martina “Guillermos” wife prepare three meals a day and do your maid services. Food is not included. They can arrange to buy the food for you upon request and a service fee. For groups of 7 or more we will just add a second person at anther $50. If you are a surfer the waves get really fun out front of the house and are virtually crowd less.
There are other great spots around like “Saladita Point” a very long left that is great for long boarding or beginners that is located 5 min south of the house by car or the “Ranch” which is about a 30 min drive north which has a nice long left to it that is fun for short boarding and long boarding. The water temp is usually around 76-86 degrees year round. The house is very clean and very new so come down to Casa Pacific Saladita and enjoy one of Mexico’s most beautiful areas. We accept Credit Cards.
We really enjoyed staying at the house and eating the delicious food that Guillermo and his wife cooked for us.
They were great hosts and the home was very comfortable. It's located at the far end of the beach and offers much privacy from the rest
of the beach. I will definitely recommend it to my friends!
One of our best and most relaxing vacations ever.
Two families, 10 people, stayed for 10 days in March. The property exceeded all our expectations. The layout of the house was perfect - two rooms with bunks for the kids and 2 rooms with king size beds for the parents and additional room downstairs for Grandma. All rooms had ocean view balconies and their own bathrooms. The media room was a plus for the teenagers with a sound system to speakers outside. The pool and palapa are great for lazy days relaxing in the sun - pool was always spotless and ready to go. The beach in front of the house was fantastic for boogie boarding or body surfing with only a few areas with rocks - previous reviewers mentioned rocks, but once over the initial strip of rocks bordering the house, the beach had beautiful soft sand. We had the beach to ourselves most days under the watchful eyes of Frijolito, Luna and Priscilla (the house dogs). We enjoyed the sand volleyball court and even had a friendly game with the family renting next door.
The Owner, Rick, was great to deal with and took the time to call us a few times before our vacation to answer any questions and offer information on the area.
The true jewels in our vacation were the caretaker Guillermo, his wife Martina and their children Janeth and Abby. They made us feel so welcome and ensured our vacation was both special and relaxing. Martina's cooking is fabulous with a great variation of meals and fresh foods. We went out for dinner one night, but all decided that Martina's cooking was so much better. Guillermo was on top of everything, made arrangements for activities and even brought in a massage therapist for massages by the pool. We enjoyed just hanging out and talking to him about life in Mexico and the Troncones area.
We were sad to leave, but hope to be back soon - Thank you Rick, Guillermo, Martina, Janeth and Abby ! :)
I just stayed at Casa Pacifica for a 5 day surfing trip with friends. House was impressive with 5 large bedrooms with amazing views of the ocean. House is very clean, well furnished with everything you need and is located on a beautiful, remote beach. If you like to surf, some of the best surf spots are located within just a 5 minute drive of the house, there are also some decent waves in front of the house and to the right of the house. You can also rent surfboards at several beach locations within 5 minute drive of the house. This is by far the best house to rent in the area.
Also, if you plan to stay at the house there is no need to go out to a restaurant to eat. Instead, make sure that you have the house caretakers shop and cook all of your meals. They cook some of the best traditional Mexican food that you will ever eat using authentic and fresh ingredients. Don't miss out on this dining experience. They will also cook anything that you want to eat. We usually had them prepare a late breakfast and then a dinner. Enjoy your stay.
This house is large, well laid out, with 4 bedrooms up and one down. Large dining table that sat all of us for dinner each night. Well stocked pantry. Nice pool, crashing waves, fabulous weather. The only thing was that hot water was not available all the time.
We cooked for ourselves and so maid service was not included. Garbage was emptied every other day or so, pool kept sparkling clean. Guermo was lovely, friendly and helpful.
Toys to play with included an acoustic steel string guitar that we played regularly, media room with games and a ton of movies etc. some books that people in our party enjoyed. Internet was consistently fine. There were 2 boogie boards to play outside with. Three great dogs around who were very friendly and followed us around if we liked, let us know when strangers approached and occasionally left a deposit. Drinking water was provided X 3 of the huge containers we purchased our own when we ran out.
The beach out front is all rocks so bring/buy water shoes. If you like playing in the water, take a one minute walk to the right where there is a sandy area. We made that trek several times a day to go skimming into shore on the boogie boards.
It is a 50 minute drive into zihuatinajo. Which we made every other day for food or whatever. Enjoy your stay here. We sure did!!!
What a great spot to vacation. Perfect surfing...gorgeous house and the nicest caretakers you could imagine! My husband and I went the last week of August, which is essentially off season and it was still fabulous. Will definitely be coming back!! Personal highlight was having a massage therapist come directly to the house to give me my massage right next to the pool outside. (Beach is very private).
Can't say enough about Casa Pacifica! Better than advertised. Proximity to great surf in La Saladita was super nice. But being on the north end of the beach area provided super nice privacy. Also can't say enough about the caretaker and his wife (Guillermo and Martina). They were the best we've ever experienced in many years of traveling to this area. We'll for sure be re-booking next year's surf trip with Casa Pacifica!
