An amazing location situated on the edge of Whistler Village across the street from the ski in ski out Westin Resort and Spa, and just a few minutes stroll away from the base of the Whistler Gondola, Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola, and all that Whistler Village has to offer. Units this size are hard to find within the village, and are seldom less than a 10 minute walk or drive away.

This townhouse is located in a 7 unit exclusive complex and has 3 spacious levels. Fully renovated in the summer of 2011, this unit is a true hidden gem. When you enter you will find two bedrooms - each with a queen size bed. Both have small tv's in the room. There is also a bathroom with shower and laundry facilities. Walking up to the next floor you will find an open concept living room, dining room, and entertainer's kitchen. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom and ensuite complete with a soaker tub, a bedroom with single bunk beds, and a fifth smaller bedroom /den with additional single bunk beds. There is also a guest bathroom with a large double headed shower.

This unit is ideal for families traveling on their own, or even sharing with a nanny, grandparents or another couple. Great for families with small children as snow-school drop off and the gondola are a just a short stroll away. No car needed at this property - everything is right out your doorstep!

It is also very popular for 3 couples or 5 - 6 friends travelling together.

About The Owner

When we were teenagers, our father decided it was time for the family to take up skiing. Not one to do things half heartedly, he purchased a beautiful townhouse in what is probably still the best location available in Whistler. Now 30 years later, the townhouse is still in the family. My sister and I now look after the place, and with young kids of our own, we are over the moon that they will grow up skiers/boarders as well.

Unfortunately school, soccer, hockey practice etc. takes up a lot of our time in the winter these days so we don't get up to Whistler as much as we would like. Bad news for us, but good news for you! We would rather have someone enjoy it than have it sit empty. It's too special a property for that!

The Owner purchased this townhome in 1987

Why The Owner chose British Columbia Mountains

Location, location, location - sure the townhouse is fabulous because of it's layout and comforts, but really, the location is the key feature of this property. You are literally in the village center without all the noise and chaos. So easy to hit the slopes, hit the restaurants, hit the shops or hit the taxis or long walks in ski boots. 270 steps from the driveway to the gondola building, to be exact. Easy!

What makes this townhome unique

The townhouse is a family townhouse. We love spending time up there and as such have all the creature comforts that one would want for their vacation. Plenty of dishes, wine glasses, towels, linens, mixers, turkey platters, etc. While certainly clean and uncluttered, you won't feel like you are in a sterile, minimalistic rental property. You will feel at home...but away!

Sorry meant to tell you that we had a great time this season. The snow was far from ideal as you know but the weather was warm and lovely. The trails and golf courses were snow free, and we had many glorious hikes.

We continue to love your place. We loved the new fireplace and hotub. Both are great additions. If I am permitted a nomination for next item , I would choose a new gas BBQ. Don't think you need a fancy one just that the existing one is on its last legs.

As for next year, I wonder if we might have a chat next week. Please let me know which day and time works best and I will be in touch.

Wonderful. Glad you enjoyed your trip despite the conditions. Good news - when we did the gas fireplace, we set up a gas line so that we can bring up a gas bbq. It will be there for next season!

An absolute gem!

This is a fabulous townhouse looked after by a most accommodating and friendly host. Our family of 5 rented it for 2 weeks during a very snowy January. The house is very comfortable, light and spacious. The layout works really well. The large master bedroom has a lovely view towards the mountains and golf driving range. We loved defrosting after a chilly day in the hot tub. The kitchen was well appointed and we appreciated that the hosts generously left spices and condiments for us to use. The location is great, very quiet in the evening but only 5 minutes walk to the lifts. There is really no need to have a car at this location.

Best Condo!

We rented this condo for our (US) Thanksgiving Holiday. The hosts could not have been nicer. We screwed up our date of arrival, but the owners allowed us to check in early anyway. What a lifesaver! The kitchen was perfect and the Hot Tub was the best amenity ever. The entrance had a mud room - which was very convenient for storing cold and wet clothes. It snowed every day we were there! Also, the garage came in handy as a place to park out of the snow. The best aspect of the condo was the convenience to the village. The Westin is right across the street (with spa/ restaurants, etc . . . ) There are two bedrooms downstairs and three on the third level. The middle level contains the living room, kitchen and dining area. Two of the rooms on the third level have bunk beds, so the place is great for large families. There was also ample outdoor space for us to spread out and enjoy the snow! I fully recommend this condo!

Great location for all your biking needs

Great place if you want easy access to the main village, DH, and XC biking. Worked very well for 7 adults and had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable and easy to love! Everything was updated and clean. Location was perfect. Loved the hot tub. Has room for bigger families. Hostess was lovely and super accommodating. So glad we found this beautiful place. Would really like to spend more time in Whistler and certainly will try to stay here.

This place has a great location. Close enough to walk to base but far enough to be out of the commotion. Great place for more than one family. Well equipped and maintained. Would stay here again.

Great place

We have been to Whistler many times, both hotels and rentals, this unit however the location could not be better. We had a 3 year old with us, on his first Ski Lessons - only 5-10 minute walk to the Whistler Kids at the base of the mountain. Also meant we just put the car in the garage on arrival and left it there for the week, shops all in easy walking distance. Although close the village also very quiet as off the main roads. Unit itself is very good & comfortable, great for families. Excellent Kitchen area also, if prefer to cook rather than go out.

There are not many large units that are located within the main village, just steps away to the gondola, lifts, shops and restaurants. No car required!!
