Welcome to "Beech Music",our mountain home located in the charming ski resort of Beech Mountain in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Beech Mountain, home of Ski Beech, has the highest elevation of any town and the highest ski resort east of the Mississippi. Being a mile above sea level provides a wonderful ski season which normally brings lots natural of snow and in summer this temperatures rarely exceed 78 degrees.
Beech Mountain is close to the High Country's main attractions - Grandfather Mountain, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie, Mast General Store, Linville Falls...
The house has amazing views year round. From the main living area and the expansive decks three different mountain ranges are in view. The house has easy access as we are located directly off Beech Mountain Parkway (Highway 184). The driveway includes a lower and a upper level parking area. There are separate outdoor entrances with a staircase at the front and easy access at the rear. Our home had extensive renovations recently and is newly rebuilt and decorated. It has all new furniture and appliances. The home features a walk-around upper deck with a large covered area made from heavy post and beam construction and a lower deck off the master bedroom. There is a gas-log fire pit and a gas grill which are connected to the home's underground propane tank, so there is no need for the litte refillable tanks. There is plenty of room for outdoor dining and entertaining. Three flat-panel TV's, surround sound and a DVD/DC player and wireless internet will keep you occupied on even a dreary day.
See our web-site address listed below for more detailed info on our house.
The house is conveniently located in the center of the Beech Mountain community and only a half mile from the ski lifts and less than a mile from Fred's General Store, other shopping and a variety of dining venues.
The house has three bedrooms and three full baths, the Master Bath and downstairs bath have double vanities and jetted tubs. Linens and towels are provided. The house will sleep up to eight people.

DC Equities, LLC is a small company in western North Carolina that specializes in acquiring homes and giving them new life. We take pride in our work and use only quality materials and highly skilled craftsmen in our projects.
Unlike many of our competitors who simply "put lipstick on a pig," and attempt to hide problems from potential buyers or guests, we thoroughly inspect every system and component of each house and correct, rather than disguise, any serious defects we find. We feel anything less is dishonest.
Founded in early 2004, DC Equities is owned by Don Chapman, a financial planner, and Dan Christian, an attorney who concentrates his practice in real estate matters. Our goal is to not only improve the property we are working on, but to do so in a manner that enhances the entire neighborhood.
This home is our second project on Beech Mountain and the ninth of 26 projects undertaken by our company.
The Owner purchased this house in 2007
Three couples stayed here for a ski trip and loved it. Very convenient to slopes and restaurants. Don is great to communicate with. We will definitely stay here again.
Great location and so much to do on and around Beech Mountain. We just made it home and can't wait to go back. It was an incredible trip, and we had a great time. We definitely hope to be able to stay at your house again. The fire pit and view made the deck the gathering place while we were at the house. Thank you for opening it up to our family.
We had two adults, 3 teenagers and a 6 year for a week in the house. The house was perfect, well kept, great location, nice view and comfortable. Don was great to work with. Beech Mtn has lots to offer during all seasons. I highly recommend this house.
Great location and charming decor. Some functional issues with the gas and furlongs. Resolved quickly by calling the owner. Not for the elderly or handicapped. Be very careful getting into bathtubs.
We loved staying in this house. We were able to wear out our 3 year old during the day with hikes on the trail that is directly behind this house. He loved climbing on the Moss covered rocks and getting muddy in the creek. There were other numerous hikes close by and lots of opportunities for him to ride his balance bike. On the rainy day we took him to Buckeye Recreation Center for the indoor playroom. In the evenings we took our time cooking good dinners in the Kitchen and after our boy went to bed we sat on the deck, fired up the gas fire pit and stared across the dimming mountain ranges with a bourbon in our hands. A few nights we had friends join us and the house had ample room for 4 adults and two kids without feeling crowded. We hope to do it again next year.
We stayed 3 weeks to get out of the August heat. This is a terrific property & the owner was very responsive to a couple minor issues in the beginning. At almost 5000 ft altitude, it's cool up here- but the fireplaces & fire pit kept us cozy. Well appointed, comfortable beds, newer washer/dryer & grill. The perfect place to chill or make your base for daily adventures to the surrounding activities. Would happily recommend this property & gladly return!
