We came here the first week of August, 2015. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the oceanfront duplex. Donna and Steve were very friendly and accommodating owners of the property. The apartment is lovelier in person than on the web site. We had all the comforts of home. It is in a beautiful spot on the water. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It is a good location for sightseeing, too.
We arrived just in time to go to the Rockland Lobster Festival on Sunday (the last day of the festival). We went to several lighthouses, beaches and museums. Including the Owl's Head Transportation Museum. Which was awesome! We took a day trip to the beautiful Acadia National Park. Cadillac Mountain has a very majestic view of the Atlantic.
We would recommend this rental very highly. We had our teenage granddaughter with us and she enjoyed it, too.
we come here each and every year! this is a wonderful, peaceful and quiet get away. the view is beautiful and the private beach is amazing. we would recommend this place to everyone and anyone looking for a quiet relaxing and soothing getaway.
Take Route 1 North to downtown Rockland. Take a right onto Route 73. Travel approx. 2 miles and just after the Mid-Coast School of Technology, turn left onto Ocean Avenue. We are the last house on the left; Trinity On The Ocean. Also located only 8/10ths of a mile from downtown Rockland. The oceanfront apartment overlooks Rockland and Owl Head harbors, as well as the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. The Boat House apartment also offers a private walkway to the beach. We are located only 8 miles from Camden, 30 minutes from Damariscotta, and 12 miles from Port Clyde (for the Ferry to Monhegan Island). The North Haven and Vinal Haven Ferry leaves from Rockland Harbor and can be seen from the deck of the apartment. The Boat House apartment is conveniently located at the end of a dead end road and is very quiet but close enough to downtown Rockland, offering daily excitement and nightlife.
