This studio apartment has been recently remolded and has one carpeted bedroom area that will comfortably sleep two people -- there are two twin beds with a king bed option -- see photos. There is a separate large bathroom (tub, shower, vanity) and a kitchen-dining area.
Amenities and extras include a wall-mounted HDTV, Blue-Ray DVD player in the bedroom, a well appointed kitchen (apartment-size refrigerator, two burner gas cooktop, microwave, cooking utensils and tableware), commercial grade gas barbecue, linens and towels, clothes washer and dryer, beach chairs, towels and umbrella.
Nearby activities are within walking distance or a short drive: first-rate boutiques and galleries, incredible restaurants, museums, world-renowned attractions (San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World, Scripps Aquarium), diverse sightseeing (Gas Lamp Quarter, Old Town, Tijuana, Mexico), first-class public golf (Torrey Pines Golf Course), public tennis courts and Olympic size swimming pool, fitness clubs, wildlife viewing (whales, seals, tide pools), ocean kayaking, deep-sea/surf/freshwater fishing, snorkeling-Scuba diving, surfing.

This studio apartment was truly a "home" away from home with every amenity you could ask for. Very clean and comfortable with an outdoor patio to relax and enjoy cool ocean breezes. Beautiful location near beaches, restaurants and shops in the lovely La Jolla area. Michael and Lisa were such gracious hosts and made you feel right at home and welcome. Comfortable, clean studio with EVERYTHING you could possibly need from cookware to toiletries to linens to washer/dryer access and even extras like beach chairs and sun umbrella ! Beautiful location in the prestigious La Jolla neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and beachfronts! Easy street parking. Quiet backyard with outdoor seating in a lovely garden. The stay was everything as described in the ad and more! Lisa was very friendly and hospitable, bringing us fresh linens and cookies on arrival and giving us tips on local food faves! We would totally come back here :)
The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and the space was just perfect for our 5-day stay. Uber is easily available and affordable to and from this location. Walking to shops, excellent restaurants, groceries, movies, Comedy Store, and beaches is a breeze.
A beautiful apartment close to everything La Jolla has to offer. A peaceful and quiet setting. Lisa and Michael couldn't be nicer and an added bonus is walking through Lisa's beautiful garden!
My husband and I rented this property in April 2016. We were in La Jolla visiting family and chose this property because of it's close proximity to our family, beaches and shops/restaurants. It had excellent reviews and far exceeded our expectations. Property is beautiful - landscape and gardens are beautiful, apartment is beautiful and very clean, quiet area, within walking distance to many shops, grocery/drug stores, restaurants and beaches. We felt very welcome upon arrival and Lisa and Michael couldn't have been friendlier - the homemade muffins were greatly appreciated!! Was a perfect place for us to rest and enjoy our visit with family - thank you Lisa and Michael!!!
This home away was all that was advertised and more. It is well located in an interesting beach neighbourhood, exudes comfort and totally functions for a family of four. Our hosts Lisa and Michael were both helpful and welcoming. Thanks again for a wonderful stay in an amazing part of California.

Damage protection for the following a) repair damages caused by renter, or by a guest of renter; b) extra cleaning of the property, if necessary, excluding ordinary wear and the ordinary cleaning covered by the cleaning fee; c) replacement or return of personal property of the property; d) failure to comply with the non-smoking and no pet terms.
City of San Diego Transient Occupancy Registration Certificate Number 615663. The renter is required to pay a 10.50% Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) and a 0.55% Tourism Marketing District (TMD) assessment for stays less than 30 consecutive days. The renter is not responsible for TOT tax for stays longer than 30 days.
