This elegantly furnished, full floor Edwardian flat combines period style and modern amenities: flat screen tv's and wireless internet connections meld with the graceful wood paneling and sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay.
The flexible layout offers you a variety of options: two bedrooms (one large and one small) and a sleeper sofa in the front parlor can accommodate 5 although three is optimal. The rear parlor serves as a formal dining room although you may prefer just to eat in the sunny breakfast nook with its spectacular views of the hillside neighborhoods and, of course, the bay.

Properties rarely turn over in this sought after area and we love the location and ease of getting to favorite spots in the City like Union Square, the theater district the waterfront and the financial district.
It is in the heart of North Beach in walking distance of many great restaurants, shops, and a beautiful park with easy public transportation, great views and lively safe neigborhood, bordering China Town.
What a great place! I loved having 2 living rooms. The beds were super comfy. Having a washer/dryer in the flat helped since we didn't have to pack a lot. Loved having the cable car so close. Lots of yummy Italian restaurants nearby, the Stinkin Rose (a garlic restaurant) was my favorite. Everything was really clean. Easy to get in and lock up. Nice that it was only one flight up from the street. The owner was super nice and even made sure we had coffee.
A great flat in a perfect location for visiting the city. Kitchen is good size with all we needed for our stay. The owner was also very helpful and accommodating. Quiet street but 2 blocks from shops and restaurants.
What a absolutely PERFECT spot when visiting San Francisco! The condo was immacuate. The view was incredible. The place is cozy and it feels like home. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of everything. It was amazing how the condo was only a few blocks away from the chaos of Fisherman's Warf, yet it was peaceful and felt miles away from the buzyness. We ARE walkers, but if you're not used to it, the condo may be a bit of an uphill exercise workout. However, the cable car IS just steps away from the door and will take you most any place you desire to go. We walked everywhere....the Ferry Building for it's AMAZING farmer's market, around the Embarcadero, countless times to Fisherman's Warf, down to Trader Joe's for tapas....and many places to eat, and drink, within walking distance as well....you are on the edge of Chinatown and the Italian section of the city...can't beat that!!! We LOVED our stay at the condo!! And Margie was always on top of things and answered questions quickly and patiently and had lots of good input....and always made herself available. Thank you Margie!! We can hardly wait for our next visit to the City by the Bay so we can stay here again!!
We stayed here for the last 5 days of our California holiday. We were so delighted with the property - it was absolutely beautiful - it was cosy and comfortable with a lovely kitchen and perfect space for our family of 5. The location was perfect - close to the cable car and right on the edge of both little Italy and Chinatown! The views out the back of the house are lovely - you can see straight to Alcatraz. It was so nice to live like a local rather than being in the middle of all the hotels. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others and would love to stay here again if we are lucky enough to go back.
Stayed in this beautiful property last week of May and couldn't have been more pleased. Location is excellent--steps to cable car and a few blocks to Fishermans Wharf. Condo itself if perfect for families--we have 2 teen boys and we let one have the bedroom and the other used the sleeper sofa in the front parlor. Bathroom set up is ideal with shower separate from toilet. Kitchen is fully stocked so we could have cooked if we wanted but why bother when Little Italy is only 2 blocks away. I would highly recommend this property--owner made herself available but was not intrusive.
My husband and I stayed here December 4-7, 2014, with our 2 teen kids, age 19 and 16. The flat is beautifully decorated, with original details preserved in the beautiful woodwork, floors and doors. The flat was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and our son slept great on the sofa in the front room. There are great views from the kitchen and back parlor of the bay, bay bridge, St. Peter & Paul Cathedral, Coit Tower and Alcatraz. The location is incredibly convenient! We bought a muni pass, road the Powell Mason cable car from around the corner and caught busses to and from nearby Stockton Street. We walked to Coit Tower, to the famous Lombard Street, and to North Beach for great meals. We highly recommend this property, and would definitely stay here again! The owners were very easy to deal with and very responsive to all e-mail inquiries.
