Even though this is a duplex, you would never know it is not a single family house if you access the home from the back alleyway to the driveway on the East side of the home. Then you enter through the private, enclosed backyard. The other unit in this duplex is VRBO #563805.
This home is the entire TOP level of a 3 story duplex, or twin home (the ground level is two garages) with an East facing backyard and second driveway. It is located on a quiet dead end street just 5.5 blocks from downtown Salt Lake City. It's location on Capitol Hill and offers stunning views of the Salt Lake Valley, the Capitol building, and the Great Salt Lake. It has 4 bedrooms:
Master bedroom suite has one King size bed and twin (convertible) leatherette lounger.
The second bedroom has one queen size bed
The third bedroom has one full size (very comfortable solid memory foam) bed and a twin bed that can be two bedrooms with Queen size beds, a Full size bed in the third bedroom with an additional twin, and a full size sofa sleeper in the living room which can be prepared upon request. Twin size beds can be added ($50 each + tax/per stay) to accommodate up to 14.
The Formal Dining room seats 8-10 in the formal dining room. The coffee nook in the kitchen seats 6-8 (by adding leaf), there are two bar-height patio tables with 8 bar-height patio chairs and 16 additional regular chairs.
Includes high-speed WiFi (currently 60 mbps soon to be fiber optic - they are currently putting it in down our street & HDTV Satellite with the most channels and three movie channels

Also furnished: Ironing board, iron, vacuum, broom, mop, hair dryer, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dinnerware, kitchenware, and utensils.
Silver Sunset is located only six blocks from the City center, 1.4 blocks from the Capitol building, seven blocks from the Salt Palace Convention Center, five blocks from the LDS Conference Center and Temple Square, and 18 Blocks from University of Utah.
A free bus (State Capitol #500 - rideutadotcom)picks up 1.4 blocks south of the property at the State Capitol building and travels around the downtown area stopping at popular tourist and business attractions including the north end of the Salt Palace Convention Center, Temple Square/Conference Center, TRAX (light rail) stations, and bus transfer points. This large fully furnished 3 bedroom/2 bath home offers high unobstructed views of the Salt Lake Valley and the Great Salt Lake from the front balcony. It is located on a quiet dead end street just a few blocks from downtown Salt Lake City.
I love all the windows and views. It is sunny, bright, clean, and convenient.
With high quality appliances, sheets, bedding & towels, as well as a kitchen fully stocked with dishes and cookware, this home offers it all.
Management was great, cleanliness and having some cleaning supplies available--also great.
Furnishings were good overall. The one thing which didn't work too well were the window blinds. They were not of good quality, and as I pulled them across, I was never sure whether another one would fall off! Also the decorative part at the top fell off the first day. I put it back on, but realized it would fall back off each time I closed the blinds, so ended up having to store it. Also..they did not "fall" exactly perfectly so there were gaps in them. Not a huge deal, but I would have preferred cloth curtains so that there would be full coverage and so they wouldn't keep falling apart.
That aside, the furnishings were very nice, functional, we had everything we needed, and it was a pleasant place to live short-term. Thanks for your help--we were glad to have found the rental and to have had such a good experience!
We really enjoyed our stay. 6 adults. We love to walk and this house is within walking distance to the Capitol Bldg and temple square.
This is a very nice place a quick cab/ or car ride to the convention center which is what we used this for. Slept 5 comfortably. Place was very nicely furnished, beautiful kitchen, and we had a great time. Not in the place as much since we were here for business but it was great. Christine was very very helpful and we would stay here again if coming back to Salt Lake City.
We stayed at another property managed by this company in the spring and decided to book with them again. This property is walking distance to downtown and there is a free bus that travels from about a block away to all over the City. We rode our bikes downtown and put the bikes on the bus to travel up the hill back to the rental. The property has great views, was extremely clean, and had just about everything we needed (except an inhouse wine cellar). The dryer stopped working during our stay and a new one was delivered within two days. We recommend this property to anyone who can appreciate higher quality. There are hardwood floors and glossy cabinets that require a little softer use. We definitely appreciated what this property offers and were willing to comply with the be-kind-to-the-house requests.
My husband and I were thrilled with this home. It was so convenient to downtown. We stayed a week and walked most days to Temple Square and points beyond. The house was great - very clean and comfortable. Everything was there that we needed. I loved the decor. The views were spectacular. We had a wonderful week in SLC. Thank you for having a pet-friendly home.
Supper cute, clean/comfortable, and just like home! We were supposed to stay in SLC 4 weeks... and due to a bunch of problems, it ended up being 6. It felt like home the whole time - well equipped kitchen, nice washer/dryer, easy access from the back. The unit has a beautiful view of the mountains and lake, and is an easy walk to Temple Square, nature trails, and nearby parks. It was perfect for our stay. Christine was very responsive, and the whole stay was very easy/convenient, and they bent over backwards to be accomodating to us. I can't say enough about the place - we even name the covey of quail that visited the yard every so often!
This place was attractive, well decorated, very well maintained without being super-fancy - perfect for business travel/families, and outdoorsy types.
Pinnacle Place is a cleverly designed property - In functionality and convenience and aesthetics. We enjoyed being able to park 4 cars in the garage and carport, having extra space for our boat, having a fancy washer/dryer set, and a private back yard - however, the views may have taken the cake. Very comfortable and perfect location. Management was so responsive to requests. We had a fabulous time.
